Our Mission

Experience The Palmer Difference

Do the Math

Palmer Equipment Sales has been in business for four decades and is a family-owned and operated business located in the heart of central-Utah, USA. The Palmer family has been involved in agriculture for the past 60 years. Guy and Lynda, the founders of Palmer Equipment, have lived on and operated farms for most of their married years together. In 1981, Guy developed a back condition that made it impossible for him to carry out the everyday duties and activities on the farm. Guy and Lynda, along with their son Ryan, explored their different options for providing and sustaining their family. The only thought that was desirable to them, was to pick a career involved in their passion...agriculture.

As they explored their options, they noted the rising costs of outfitting farms with the machinery needed to do each job, Guy began looking into used farm equipment that could be restored to a superior standard. With Ryan’s experience as a certified journeyman autobody and paint technician, an idea was born. Together, they figured that by merging their unique skill sets together, they might be able to purchase older used implements at a fair used market value, restore them with new parts, and transform them back into excellent working condition. By doing this, they thought they could enter a niche market to sell to farmers who were looking for a quality piece of equipment without having to take out a second mortgage on the farm to do it!

Having been involved in farming for over 6 generations, at Palmer Equipment, we aren’t there just to get the sale. We un-derstand that the need for dependability and quality performance when you’re out in the field is an uncompromised neces-sity. We pride ourselves in developing and maintaining friendships and long-term relationships. We treat every customer as if we were making the purchase for ourselves. We promise to go the extra mile.

We ship bale wagons all over the world!

At Palmer Equipment, our 12-person specialized crew has over 200 years of combined sales, service, mechanical, manu-facturing and customer support experience in the agricultural equipment field. We are knowledgeable, experienced, talent-ed, professional and provide a quick turnaround of equipment, parts, and service.

We understand New Holland bale wagons as well as anyone else in the industry. We pride ourselves in being thorough, respectful, and helpful through every step of the transaction. It is our goal to build relationships of trust from one generation to another in assisting our customers with their specific needs. We restore tractors, balers, hay rakes, swathers, tillage equipment and other forage equipment. We can refurbish nearly any piece of farm equipment back to like-new condition. Please note that we now manufacture new equipment and parts as well!

You can rest at ease knowing that we employ certified diesel mechanics and welders. Our staff is highly trained and is just as capable, talented, and qualified as anyone else in the industry.

Our machines are the best previously owned machines available. Everyone can profit from a machine that can boast high quality, and yet still be purchased for 25% to 50% of the cost of a new machine. As you may know, new self-propelled bale wagons are approaching $180,000.00. If you had a choice between a new machine that would cost nearly $180,000.00 or a high quality previously owned machine with all the upgrades from Palmer Equipment for $40,000.00 to $90,000.00, sitting in that seat, which would you choose? Palmer Equipment specializes in helping you achieve hay moving efficiency while letting you hold on to some of that hard-earned cash!
