AboutGlimm

Glimm screens started in 2000 with selling the first projection film from 3M. During this period we discovered that technology what was necessary to produce their own projection films. We found a film supplier who was developing films for different applications for 3M and other manufactures like Texas instruments, Samsung. Our own production line started in 2001. Our films are registered, patented and licensed for the global market. The films are evaluated every year on quality and comparison and needs in the global projection market, this way we can guaranty top quality products, and as the only manufacturer of projection films in the global market offer them for concurring prices.

TouchthroughwindowLCD Just like our rear projection foil with touch, you can also attach an LCD screen behind your window and make it an interactive through‐window touch device using the Glimm touch foil™. With the LCD placed on the inside of the store window, the Glimm touch foil will register the finger touches on the outside off the window glass. Preventing the technology direct contact with its audience, which makes it an enduring system.

CuttosizeprojectionfilmAll projection films manufactured by Glimm are easy to cut into any size of shape. These cut‐to‐size films are easy to apply on glass, acrylic or other transparent materials. These films can be customized by an auto‐cut program with laser‐technologies. This means you can send us your (vector) drawings how you want to cut your film and our factory will be happy to oblige!

CuttosizeprojectionscreenGlimm also offers the possibility to order a custom‐shaped projection logo screen. This means we can cut the acrylic or glass as well as the projection film. If you like to project on a cut‐to‐size film we can support you with our video‐mapping consultant and content possibilities. Both of these digital signage solutions are possible with all of our projection films.

Shoppingexperience Unlike regular speakers, using Whispering Window won’t obstruct the view into your store. And because the sound is evenly distributed throughout the surface, you won’t have to crank it up to annoying levels – customers will be able to hear your messages while still being able to carry on a conversation and have a pleasant shopping experience. Whispering Window sound is passive but it provides an aggressive marketing tool.

Technology Whispering Window sound drivers are small and unobtrusive. Utilizing a patented process, two transducers easily bond to any glass pane and attach to an included amplifier, which can work from any sound source. Noise pollution is controlled by a real time feedback that ensures the window never ‘whispers’ above a small amount over the outside noise level. The unique properties of this technology means only people on the pavement directly in front of the window hear the message. The transducers – chrome finished and the size of a hockey puck – go unnoticed and are easily hidden with minimal décor.
