Activities, hobbies, interests: raising our children, volunteering, and watching grandkids. Dave and I have been involved in the Cursillo movement for 30+ years and active in our parish. One of my favorite hobbies is making my own greeting cards in my spare time, as a result of a daughter-in-law who is a StampinUp demonstrator.

Travel adventures: One of the biggest highlights of my life was making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2009; it was an incredible experience to walk where Jesus walked I’ve also been to France & Jamaica, as well as to many places in the US.

Manual Spirit The warm enthusiasm of Manual's spirit has brought her great acclaim in the past years. Without this element, Manual would be just another institution, a school established as a machine, which operated primarily for the stuffing of facts and figures into human heads. Fond memories of Manual: Being a Senior at Manual was a very important and unique experience and it really changed my life and my perspective of the world. The warm reception I received from my American family and every student from Manual was really special and I will keep it forever in my memory. My classmates and teachers from History, Speech and English, French and Art, Typing (which turned out to be quite useful for computer), the talks on the corridors and sometimes even during classes, the everyday homework which I hated, the stunt show, the parties at Manual, the slumber parties, the picnics at McCann’s, the football games, all was new and exciting, but what touched me more was the friendship from those who got close to me: my sister Cheryl, who was a Junior, and her friend Sharon; Marilee, Norma, Mary, Dave Dippold, Bill Lunsford, Dave, Bill Kessler, Ed, Monty - who teased me all the time – and all my other friends.
