1. Previous informationCashDro3 and CashDro5 have an Electronic Lock that increases the security level foropening the door. The Electronic Lock is an optional accessory.

The Electronic Lock is a configurable locking system that can be assigned from 1 to 48users, which are identified by a two-digit number (PIN) and a 6-digit password (CODE).

From factory settings the device have two following users by default:

User Supervisor Admin

PIN 00 49

CODE 123456 (By default) 494949 (By default)

Permissions Open Door, create and delete Users Modify delayed opening time and automatic closing time

To open the Electronic Lock, the User must introduce his PIN and his CODE. So that, forexample if the user Supervisor wants to open the Electronic Lock, he must introduce“00123456”.

Once open the Electronic Lock always be closed again within 20 seconds.

1.1. For your security

• ALWAYS keep opened the door and the Electronic Lock while you realize anymodification in the configuration and verify the correct operation before re-closing.

• Modify the password (CODE) of the users ''Supervisor'' and ''Admin''.

• Create at least other user that can open Electronic Lock.

• Keep in a safe place the users password information. In case of loss they arenot recoverable and you must send the Electronic Lock to CashDro Factory forreprogramming. In case the door is closed and can not remove the ElectronicLock, contact your dealer.

2. Installation in CashDro5The electronic lock for CashDro5 is an optional accessory that can be after installed in thismodel.

2.1. Components

The installation kit is composed by the following components:

• numeric keyboard

• electronic lock

• connection cable

• electronic lock support

• 3 screws M5x12

• 2 nuts M5

• 2 washers M5

• 4 nuts M6

2.2. Mounting procedure

To do the electronic lock installation in CashDro5 you must follow the next steps:

1. Remove the stainless steel plate to make accessible the keyboard fixing holes.

For that, unscrew two fixing nuts located behind the door and remove the lid. Becareful not to damage the paint.

2. Open the keyboard lid and mount fixing it with 3 screws M5x12.

3. Mount the electronic lock support at the rear of the door fixing it to two cap screwsM5 with 2 nuts M5 and 2 washers.

4. Mount the electronic lock passing by the 4 cap screws M6 of support so that theclosing trigger is aligned to closing slide. Fix with 4 nuts M6.

5. Connect one of the two cables ends of the interconnection cable to lower keyboardconnector (rear)

6. Pass the other end of the interconnection cable by the hole located in the center ofthe keyboard and connect to connector N.º 1 of the electronic lock.

7. Pass the excess cable to rear of the door and hide between the electronic lock andthe support being careful not to force the connectors zone cables.

8. Connect the 9V battery to keyboard power connector and accommodate in thelower zone gap, as shown in the image.

9. Accommodate the cables inside the keyboard and close the lid, paying specialattention that there is no cable in the catch zone as they could be damaged.

3. ConfigurationIn the following sections we show the different sequences that must be introduced tocreate and delete a user, change the password, modify the delayed opening time, modifythe automatic closing time and create a user with unlocking delayed opening.

3.1. Change the Password of a User

Once the new user is created is necessary to make the process of changing the passwordto the new user (see section 2.1). We can do this by assigning the same password againor assigning a different password.

3.3. Delete a User

3.4. Modify the delayed opening time and the useridentification time

a) Delayed opening timeIf you configure a delayed opening time, when the user introduces the PIN and CODE toopen CashDro, the Electronic Lock can not open until after delayed time.

The delayed opening time configured it applies to all users.

By default the Electronic Lock is delivered without delayed time configured (00 minutes).

b) User identification time• If the user identification time is configured to 00 minutes (default configuration) the

Electronic Lock open automatically when delayed opening time has elapsed,without doing anything else.

• If the user identification time is configured with a set time, once the delayed openingtime has elapsed the Electronic Lock warns beeping every 10 seconds and the usermust re-enter his PIN and CODE to open the Electronic Lock. If elapsed useridentification time, it has not reintroduced his PIN and CODE to open the ElectronicLock, the operation is canceled and we will have to start the process from thebeginning, including the delayed opening time, to open the Electronic Lock.

3.5. Create a User with unlocking delayed openingWe can create a user that allows the rest of users to open the Electronic Lock withoutwaiting the delayed opening time.

To opening the Electronic Lock, you must first to enter the PIN and CODE of the unlockerUser and then to enter the PIN and CODE of the User that wants to open the lock.

4. Replacing the 9V batteryThe Electronic Lock is powered by a 9V alkaline battery. Like any other battery lasts givenload.

When the Electronic Lock detects that the battery is low on charge, it emits an acousticsignal for a few seconds. When this happens, we will replace the battery.

To make the battery replacement must be followed these steps:

Open the key cover stretching out from thetop

After opening the key cover we can see thebattery inside

Replace the battery. Disconnect the lowbattery and connect a new battery

Introduce the battery into the lock

Close the key cover climbing up Push until it clicks

5. Replacing the keyboardStep 1Open the cover of keyboard gently pulling the top flap out as shown in the image,

Step 2Unscrew the three Phillips screws that fix the keyboard frame to the door.

Step 3Disconnect the cable that unites the keyboard with the electronic lock system, removingthe connector from keyboard (pull out taking the connector, never the cable), alsodisconnect the 9V battery (pressure connector).

Step 4Install the new keyboard screwing first the frame at the door (3 Phillips screws, they canbe M4 with nut or M5 without nut).

Step 5Connect the cable that unites the keyboard with the electronic lock system to one of twoconnector bases of keyboard (both work), also connect the 9V battery to connector.

Step 6Place the 9V battery inside of keyboard so that it is in his accommodation (bottom zone)with the posts on left and collect the cables so that they allow close the lid (see the imagebelow).

Step 7VERY IMPORTANT: Close carefully not to break the closing seals, they are made ofplastic material and are very fragile, if at closing we notice that something is forced toreopen and check that there is no cable that stands between frame and keyboard.

Step 8Once the keyboard lid is closed pick up the back the door the cable (by hole), roll up andhide behind of the mechanism of electronic lock.
