Batteries

This appliance operates on two 1.5 voltbatteries. For best performance, usealkaline manganese batteries (type LR 6,

AM 3, MN 1500 or size AA alkaline, e. g.Duracell). These batteries provide a

shaving capacity of approx. 60 minutes.To open the battery cover (6), turn it 90 asshown in (c). Insert batteries with the polesin the direction marked. Close the batterycover.

Note: Never leave batteries in the shaverfor long periods of time when the shaver isnot in use (danger of leakage). Take empty

batteries out of the shaver immediately.To protect the environment, disposeof empty batteries at your retail storeor at appropriate collection sitesaccording to national or local regulations.

This appliance is suitable for usein a bath or shower. When using itin a shower, we recommend that

you apply shaving foam or gel.

ShavingTurn the twisting protective cap (4) (a) untilit clicks in place as shown (b). To switch the

shaver on, push the on/off switch (3) up.

Long hair trimmerUse the extendable long hair trimmer (5) for

exact trimming of side burns and mous-taches. To operate, slide the long hairtrimmer to the right (e) and turn on theappliance. After use, slide it back until itengages.

Cleaning and maintenanceFor optimum shaving performance, cleanthe shaver after each use:

Cleaning under running waterTurn on the shaver and hold the shaverhead under warm running water (f). You

may also use liquid soap. Rinse off all foamand let the shaver run for a few moreseconds. Then turn it off and remove theshaver foil (1) as shown (g) and let it dry.If you often clean your shaver under

running water, put a drop of light machineoil onto the shaver foil.

Cleaning with the brushRemove the shaver foil (1) and tap it gently

against a flat surface. Then thoroughlyclean the cutter block (2) with the brush (7)as shown in (i). Do not clean the shaver foilwith the brush as this may damage it.

After cleaning, turn the twisting protectivecap (4) 180 to cover the shaving head.In this position, the on/off switch is

automatically locked to avoid accidentaloperation of the shaver (e. g. whentravelling).

Piles

Cet appareil fonctionne laide de deuxpiles de 1,5 volt. Pour une performanceoptimale, utiliser des piles alcalines aumanganse (type LR 6, AM 3, MN 1500 oualcalines AA, p. ex. Duracell). Ces piles

offrent une dure de rasage denviron60 minutes. Pour ouvrir le couvercle despiles (6), le tourner 90 conformment lillustration (c). Introduire les piles enmettant les ples dans la directionindique. Fermer le couvercle des piles.

Remarque : Ne jamais laisser les piles dansle rasoir pendant une longue priode de

temps sil nest pas utilis (risque de fuite).Retirer immdiatement les piles puisesdu rasoir.Pour protger lenvironnement,retourner les piles puises au

magasin de dtail ou un centrede collecte appropri, conformmentaux rglements locaux ou nationaux.

Cet appareil peut tre utilis dans

la baignoire ou la douche. Lorsquele rasoir est utilis dans la douche,nous recommandons lapplication dunemousse ou dun gel raser.

RasageTourner le capuchon pivotant protecteur (4)(a) jusqu ce quil senclenche, confor-mment lillustration (b). Pour allumer le

rasoir, pousser linterrupteur marche-arrt(3) vers le haut.

Tondeuse pour poils longs

Utiliser la tondeuse extensible pour poilslongs (5) pour tailler avec prcision lesfavoris et la moustache. Pour mettre latondeuse en marche, la glisser vers ladroite (e) et allumer lappareil. Aprslemploi, la replacer en la faisant glisser

jusqu ce quelle senclenche.

Nettoyage et entretienPour un rasage optimal, nettoyer le rasoiraprs chaque utilisation :

Nettoyage leau du robinet

Allumer le rasoir et tenir la tte de rasagesous le jet deau chaude (f). Il est galementpossible dutiliser du savon liquide. Rincerpour enlever toute la mousse et laisser le rasoir fonctionner pendant encore

quelques secondes. Mettre ensuite lerasoir hors tension, retirer la grille (1)conformment lillustration (g) et laisserscher. Si le rasoir est souvent nettoy leau du robinet, appliquer une goutte

dhuile machine lgre sur la grille.

Nettoyage laide de la brosseRetirer la grille du rasoir (1) et la tapoterdlicatement sur une surface plate.

Nettoyer ensuite fond le bloc de coupe (2) laide de la brosse (7), conformment lillustration (i). Ne pas nettoyer la grille durasoir avec la brosse, car cela risque delendommager.

Aprs le nettoyage, tourner le capuchonpivotant protecteur (4) 180 pourrecouvrir la tte du rasoir. Dans cetteposition, linterrupteur marche-arrtest automatiquement verrouill afindempcher le fonctionnement accidenteldu rasoir (p. ex. durant un voyage).

Bateras

Este aparato opera con dos bateras de1,5 V. Para mejor desempeo use baterasalcalinas de manganeso (tipo LR 6, AM3,MN 1500 o AA, como Duracell). Estabateras otorgan 60 minutos de rasurado

aproximadamente. Remueva la cubierta debatera (6) girando 90 como se muestra en(c). Inserte la batera con los polos en ladireccin marcada. Cierre la cubierta debatera.

NOTA: Si el aparato no es usado por unperiodo extendido de tiempo no deje labatera adentro (peligro de derrame). Retire

la batera vaca del aparato inmediata-mente. Las bateras usadas no deben serdesechadas con el desperdicio de casa.Por favor deschelas en los pun-tos de recoleccin especiales o

regrselas a su detallista o centro deservicio autorizado dependiendo de lasregulaciones locales.

Este aparato puede ser usado en

la regadera o tina, recomendamosel uso de espuma o gel pararasurar cuando se use en la regadera.

RasuradoGire la tapa protectora (4) (a) hasta quehaga clic como mostrado en (b). Paraencender la rasuradora, presione el botnde encendido (3).

RecortadorUse el recortador extensible (5) pararecortar patilla y bigotes. Para usarlo,deslice el recortador a la derecha (e) yencienda la rasuradora. Despus de usarla,deslcela hasta que cierre.

Limpieza y mantenimientoPara resultados ptimos, limpie larasuradora despus de usarla.

Limpieza bajo el chorro de aguaEncienda la rasuradora y sostenga elcabezal bajo el chorro de agua caliente (f).Puede usar inclusive jabn lquido.Enjuague toda la espuma y deje la rasura-

dora encendida por unos segundos ms.Apague la rasuradora y retire el foil (1)como mostrado en (g) y deje secar.Si limpia su rasuradora bajo el chorro deagua ponga una gota de aceite de mquina

al foil de la rasuradora.

Limpiando con cepilloRemueva el foil de la rasuradora (1) ygolpela suavemente contra una superficie

plana. Limpie las cuchillas (2) con el cepillo

(7) como se muestra en (i). No limpie el foilde la rasuradora con el cepillo ya quepuede daarlo.

Despus de limpiar, gire la tapa protectora(4) en 180 para cubrir el cabezal de larasuradora. En esta posicin el botn deencendido est bloqueado para evitar

accidentes con la rasuradora (Ejemplo: enviajes).
