erly, contact your dealer or the nearest | authorized PIONEER Service Station.

* When driving on an uneven road, the player may not reproduce every sound properly.

* During winter the inside of the vehicle may be very cold, If the heater is turned on and the player is used soon after, the disc or optical parts (prism, lens, ete.) may become misted up, and the player wilf not operate correctly. If the disc is misted up, wipe it with a soft cloth. If the optical parts are mist- ed up, wait for about an hour for them to warm up. They will return to their normal condition,

multi-CD players, and the operation of new functions. Other functions operate the same as with other players. Please refer to the user’s manual for your multi-CD controller.

1. Play the disc you want to unload. (See Page 12.)

2. Press @) or G*) for 2 seconds or longer, then take the disc out.

After removing the disc, push the door closed until it clicks.

Playing Compact Discs

Start the CD player

Press the (S) button until it becomes multi-CD.

Press the (®) button until it becomes multi-CD.

Piaying of the multi-CD begins and the 50-disc muiti-CD operation state is dis- played.

Pressing the Clear Button .

After connecting everything up, press the clear button with the tip of a pencil. if the power will not switch on, or if the CD player does net operate, when the button on the control unit is pressed, or if the control unit display is incorrect, press this button with the tip of a pencil to restore normal operation. Always press the clear button on the multi-CD controller, too, after pressing this button. + Hf the clear button is pressed when the player contains a magazine or the igni-

Transportation of multi-CD player. Removing the Transport Screws

In order to protect the set while it is being transported, transport screws and a pin are installed. Before installation of the unit begins, remove the transport screws and pin and keep them on hand in case they are needed in the future. Install the

three transport screws in specified posi- |

tions, then place the transport pin and the cardboard wedge in the bag the unit came in.

When retransporting the unit, use the fol- lowing procedure, installing the transport screws, pin and the cardboard wedge in the positions they were in when the unit was first transported.
