(NBC Bearing) Since May’11 Associate Engineer, Product Design Job Responsibilities :- Feasibility study of the customer requirements & specifications and finalizing the specifications, design, offer design (Customer Drawing) of new product. After approval of customer drawing prepare the time plan target for the completion of prototype design of new product. Preparing the drawing with the drawing software (Creo-view, AutoCAD) & releasing the drawing to respective departments. Freeze the flow process chart and control plan of new product. Freeze BOM and Finalizes costing of new product. Vendor drawing approval for parts to be procured or developed for the new product in coordination with supply chain department & Value Engineering. To expose the difficulties overlooked in the theoretical design at the time of prototype development & finding out their solutions. Modifications to be done in the drawing with the drawing software & releasing the drawing to respective departments. By Value engineering, design change in the functional design that compatible with the most economical method of production. INNOVATION To solve greasing problem in ball bearing, design slot in Nylon cage.
