And also, learn Poster Designing in a series of hourly seminars conducted by SHIFT mentors (School of Intermedia, Film and Television) and transform the Philippines with the launch of Big SHIFT – a project which aims to reshape the image of our country. PROCEDURE

There are two ways to submit your artwork:

Via e-mail ([email protected])

Personal submission on the day of the exhibit at the venue

All artwork must be printed with our HP printers and posted at the 6 x 32 ft. freedom wall personally by the artist.

Note: Materials would be supplied by Manila Design Week 2010.

FOR THE ACTIVITY ON THE DAY OF THE EXHIBIT (Student Day / 12 August 2010 / 4 PM / Glorietta 5)

Artwork submitted via e-mail

1. You can claim your submitted artwork at the exhibit venue.

2. Have it printed (free of charge) with our printers courtesy of Hewlett-Packard.

3. Post your artwork at the 6 x 32 ft. wall.

Artwork submitted personally

1. Check your name in the registered student day participants list at the exhibit venue.

2. You can edit your artwork at the Mac Stations by Power Mac Center and have it printed (free of charge) with our printers courtesy of Hewlett-Packard.

3. Post your artwork at the 6 x 32 ft. wall.

Note: Only registered student participants would be allowed to submit and post their artwork on the day of the exhibit.

FOR REGISTRATION

1. All student participants must submit their registration form via e-mail to [email protected].

2. Input in SUBJECT of your e-mail:

“STUDENT DAY REGISTRATION: (FULL NAME_SCHOOL)” e.g. “STUDENT DAY REGISTRATION: JUAN DELA CRUZ_UP”

3. The BODY of the e-mail must be of this format:

NAME (SURNAME, FIRST NAME): E-MAIL ADDRESS: BIRTHDATE: ADDRESS: CONTACT NUMBER: SCHOOL: COURSE: ORGANIZATION: NO. OF ARTWORK FOR SUBMISSION (Two artworks per student participant):

4. For student participants who wish to submit two artwork, you only need to send your registration once.

5. Only properly filled-up registration form will be accepted.



FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTWORK

Via e-mail

1. All student participants who wish to submit their artwork ahead of time must send their artwork(s) via e-mail to [email protected] with an FTP link (issued by yousendit.com or similar)

2. Input in SUBJECT of your e-mail:

“STUDENT DAY ARTWORK: (FULL NAME_SCHOOL)” e.g. “STUDENT DAY ARTWORK: JUAN DE LA CRUZ_UP” 3. The FILE of your artwork must be of this format:

Mode: RGB File Type: JPEG / Flattened Resolution: 150 DPI Compressed or zipped (.ZIP or .RAR) Note: For those who will submit two artwork, compress your files into ONE compressed or zipped file.

4. The FILENAME of your artwork must be of this format:

For one artwork “SURNAME_NAME_SCHOOL” e.g. “DE LA CRUZ_JUAN_UP”

For two artworks “SURNAME_NAME_SCHOOL_01” e.g. “DE LA CRUZ_JUAN_UP_01” “SURNAME_NAME_SCHOOL_02” e.g. “DE LA CRUZ_JUAN_UP_02” 5. The BODY of the e-mail must be of this format:

6. Do not send your artwork directly from yousendit.com or any FTP site. Copy the download link issued by yousendit.com or

any FTP site and paste it into the body of the e-mail.

7. Only properly filled-up submission form will be accepted.



FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTWORK

Personal submission

1. Bring a soft copy of your artwork in a CD or DVD.

2. Have your CD or DVD properly labeled with the following:

“STUDENT DAY ARTWORK: (FULL NAME_SCHOOL)” e.g. “STUDENT DAY ARTWORK: JUAN DE LA CRUZ_UP”

3. The FILE of your artwork must be of this format:

Mode: RGB File Type: JPEG / Flattened Resolution: 150 DPI Compressed or zipped (.ZIP or .RAR) Note: For those who will submit two artwork, compress your files into ONE compressed or zipped file.

4. The FILENAME of your artwork must be of this format:
