The 2-Way Manifold with a water trap is attached to the

expiratory end of the dual limb breathing circuit to regulate

the expiratory valve. The water trap is used to collect

condensation in the circuit to prevent it from damaging the

ventilator or flowing backing to the patient.

CS (closed system) Water Trap provides the convenience

of removing water from the water trap without having to

remove the water jar. This also helps to minimize the risk

of cross-contamination to ensure clinician and patient

safety. Simply insert the suction tube into the suction port

of the CS Water Trap to remove water.

The 3-Way Manifold is attached to the single limb

breathing circuit to regulate the expiratory valve. The

control line from the ventilator controls the opening of the

valve to enable air to flow in and out accordingly. This line

intermittently provides the pressure needed to close the

expiratory valve during inspiration, which blocks gas

outflow during the application of inspiratory positive

pressure. This is done to ensure the patient receives

optimal gas exchange conditions.

The Disposable 3-Way Manifold with Exhale Port also

provides a standard 22mm port for the monitoring or

collection of expired gases through a scavenging bag.

The Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB) manifold is used to help treat atelectasis and improve airway functions with a nebulizer that delivers aerosolized medication. The IPPB manifold features a 22M port to connect ventilated gas to the patient and a 18M port for nebulizer attachment. The nebulizer drive line connects to the nebulizer via a 6M port, which controls the pressure setting to deliver optimal medication and particle size. It also features a swivel 22m port that directs exhaled gas away from the patient and therapist.

The Neb-T Valve employs a T-shaped valve for use in support of a nebulizer within a breathing circuit. With the use of the Neb-T valve, patients are able to receive aerosol therapy without interrupting ventilation. The Neb-T Valve can be used with or without a nebulizer.; the valve automatically closes itself when a nebulizer is not used and provides only ventilated gas. However, when a Nebulizer is locked into the valve, the mechanism allows the valve to open to deliver both gas and aerosol medication.

The Release Control Valve is used to control or adjust the pressure in breathing circuit or hyperinflation system which can build up during procedures. The valve opening can be manually adjusted to enable pressure release. The Release Control Valve also comes with a luer port for pressure monitoring.

The Tail-End Control Valve is used in a Jackson Rees system whereby it is connected between the gas supply source and the reservoir. The open-close valve adjusts the pressure level of the system.
