The Candidate shall apply online for cancellation and submit duly signed copy of system

generated application for cancellation of admission to the institution. Once the candidate

submits online request for cancellation, his/her admission shall be treated as cancelled. The

Institute shall consider the online request made by Candidate for cancellation as final

irrespective of whether he/ she has submitted duly signed copy of system generated application

to the Institute. Upon such cancellation, the candidate shall lose the claim on the seat and such

seat shall become available for further allotment. The candidate shall then become entitled to

and the Institute shall refund the entire fees to the candidate after deduction of Rs.1000/-

towards processing charges and return all his/her original documents submitted to the Institute

within two days from submission of duly signed copy of system generated application to the

Institute.

Internal Continuous Evaluation System and place :

It is also analyzed by continuous assessment of Teaching and Examination scheme based on

the performance of practical skills such as

a) Cognitive (4 marks)

b) Psychomotor (4 marks)

c) Affective performance (2 marks)

Assesse for total 10 marks for each experiment.

3. Total marks obtained in continuous assessment are converted to the scale as per MSBTE

Teaching & Examination scheme. This is taken under the heads -Term Work / Internal

Practical / Internal Oral.

Student’s assessment of Faculty, System in place :

1) Assessment process is divided into two parts

a. Internal Assessment b. External Assessment

2) As per the curriculum of MSBTE internal assessment is 31.08% and external assessment is

68.91%. Hence, the rubrics are set as 30% for internal assessment and 70 % for external

assessment.

a. Internal Assessment

1. It is analyzed by conducting two Class tests as Class test-1 and Class test-2 of each 25

marks and Term work TW.

2. The Internal attainments are calculated considering average of Class test 1, Class test 2,

Term work, Internal Practical/ Internal Oral.

b. External Assessment

1. The assessment includes MSBTE Practical, Oral and Theory examination.

2. A few courses do not have Practical/Oral/Term work. In such cases, theory examination

alone is considered for CO attainment.

3. The Theory Score Index (TSI) is provided by MSBTE for each course after the declaration

of results. This TSI is considered for obtaining CO attainment.

4. Where score index is not provided by MSBTE, the average of marks obtained is

considered for CO attainment.

5. If less than 40% students have obtained marks below TSI then it is considered as level “0”.

6. If 40 - 49% of students have obtained marks above TSI then it is considered as low level, “1”.

7. If 50 – 59% of students have obtained marks above TSI then it is considered as medium

level,”2”.

8. If 60% and above students have obtained marks above TSI then it is considered as high

level,”3”.
