Institutional governance/ Faculty performance

Feedback by the students focusing on teaching methodologies, innovation in content delivery, performance of

each teacher, etc… is obtained through student online feedback system. Bi-monthly feedbacks are obtained

from students and meetings are conducted for corrective measures, if any.

Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

We maintain an online Grievance redressal mechanism. Grievance Redressal committee facilitates the

resolution of grievances of any matter related to student, parents, alumni and staff in a fair and impartial

manner, ensuring that grievances are resolved promptly, objectively with sensitivity and in complete

confidentiality to create a healthy relationship among the students, parents employees and employer.

•Grievance Redressal Cell shall meet three times per semester.

•Faculty, staff and students shall register their grievances online.

• The grievances sent online will be looked over periodically and are analyzed by the committee

thoroughly. The committee will then take necessary actions to solve the grievances if found genuine.

• If the grievances are pertaining to the decision of the management, the committee will submit a report to

the management with its remarks or recommendations.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Anna University to be considered for admission to any

of the participating institutes of TNEA. The list of requirements is mentioned below:

Nativity:

Candidates from Tamil Nadu (TN) who have passed VIII-XII in the state can apply and needn’t enclose certificate

of nativity.

Candidates native to TN but have passed VIII-XII in some other state must enclose nativity certificate.

Children of central government employees can also apply provided their parents have been working in TN for

the past five years.

Qualifying Exam

Candidates need to have passed HSC or any equivalent exam for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The category-

wise minimum aggregate percentage of marks required in the three subjects is given below:

The student should have obtained a recognized 3-year bachelor's degree with a minimum score of 50 % in the

qualifying degree examination (45 % is the requirement for those applying through the reserved category).

The qualified course should be:

(i) Based on 10+2+3 years pattern or

(ii) Based on 10+3 years diploma +3 years pattern or

(iii) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm program or

(iv) 10+2+AMIE qualification or

(v) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
