Manager of Food Services – Part Time The Bethania Group is currently recruiting for the position of PT Manager of Food Services at ArlingtonHaus. ArlingtonHaus is a 55+ apartment building with Assisted Living, Independent living and Supportive Housing located at 880 Arlington Street in Winnipeg. This position is a .60 FTE working 45.00 paid hours biweekly. Your regular hours of work will be 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, or as mutually agreed upon based on business needs. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring staff with a strong team approach within a unionized environment, staff scheduling, quality control, meal planning and costing, ordering and purchasing of inventory, working with various internal and external customers to coordinate functions and catering events, all necessary food audits for compliance and ensuring top quality customer service. As the successful candidate, you are a professional dedicated to providing the highest standards within the food service industry. You are a high school graduate and have attained your (2 yr) Culinary Arts diploma (or equivalent experience in apprenticeship program with Executive Chef) and have proven experience leading and mentoring staff in a unionized work environment. You have a minimum of 2 (two) years experience in a “quantity” food service kitchen as well as a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a management role supervising and directing a Food Services team. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required. In addition, you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Healthcare experience and Red Seal certification will be considered assets.
