It is my privilege to welcome you to Shree Swaminarayan Polytechnic

(SSP) and invite you to explore the multidimensional facts of this Technical

Institute. Its strengths and standing are best evidenced by the high quality of the

national and international students admitted in various programs and well

qualified faculty.

The mission of SSP to excel in the field of technology in the backdrop of

glorious intellectual and cultural life of the city will make the Institute the most

preferred destination for young students aspiring to emerge as successful

technologists. With the support of highly qualified faculty members and

excellent infrastructure I hope we shall be able to continue to add to the

intellectual and professional development of the country.

Apart from academic activities, the co-curricular activities and Society

Head of the Department

My department believes in ideas and innovations as well, we not only

teach our students but try to make a family with them; we motivate them to

learn, innovate and invent. Cynosure of our department is to place our students in

various on-going projects and companies. We also provide training in research

areas related to electrical engineering and helping the students in getting

admissions for higher studies. We also take our students to various industrial

projects and thus providing industrial exposure to our budding engineers. We

also provide the communication skills, presentation skills, soft skills to our

engineers.

About Department

Department of Electrical Engineering believes in imparting quality education to

the students along with introducing them to work culture of industries and giving

them handsome-exposure in the state of art labs and modern machines. The

department has got well qualified, enthusiastic staffs that are always at their best

to equip the students with not only concepts but with practical experiments also.

The Department organizes guest lectures, short term training program, workshop

and seminar on various specialized field.

This lab provides knowledge of

different switchgears along with

its operation and protection

phenomenon.

6. Basic Electrical Lab

This lab contains the fundamentals of electrical engineering with their appropriate

uses. Also this lab is designed in such a way that practical’s performed in this lab

will develop the basic skills to perform well in industrial atmosphere.

Expert Seminar and Achievements

Energy Conservation Awareness Workshop by GEDA

A “One Day Energy Conservation seminar” was arranged at our premises on date: 12th

Febuaray, 2018.GEDA authorized Consultants ENLEC Solutions, Ahmedabad had

conducted the technical sessions in association with Shri R. N. Pandya (Ex. Sr. Project

Executive, GEDA). The program was conducted as per standard program schedule

prescribed by GEDA.

The total 84 nos. of students and staff members had actively participated in the seminar.

The program was very informative and it has created awareness about limited energy

resources & importance of energy conservation. Shri Chirag Chauhan & Shri R. N.

Pandya had covered various topics related to energy conservation like renewable energy

sources, effect of energy use on environment, energy conservation in day to day

activities, energy conservation aspects in industries & aspects of energy audit etc.

Certificated were distributed to the all the student participants at the end of seminar.

can also pursue their own business as an electrical contractor and electrical supervisor.
