The LOFT DE RONICE is a modern living space in the centre of Nice, on the last floor of a historical building overlooking the harbour, which seems to be enclosed in its portico. Once you open the entrance door, you will feel a wonderful sense of tranquillity and relaxation.

Visually linked to the harbour and city, the LOFT DE RONICE is nevertheless a haven for the body and mind. A space that goes beyond time, made of noble and simple materials, strong yet not intimidating, elegant yet not pretentious.

The history of the building dates back to 1840, when two three-floor buildings with arcades and porticoes were built on the sides of the neoclassical church of Notre Dame du Port. These buildings, designed by architect Joseph Vernier, are protected by the French National Heritage.

The loft derives from the restoration of a surface of over 300 sq m covering two floors, visually linked by a wide mezzanine overlooking the 6-metre high living room; here, a large, modern fireplace makes the environment warm and cosy, at the same time encouraging conviviality.

A curved, shiny runner welcomes the guests with its light and emotional effects.

Il LOFT DE RONICE è un moderno spazio abitativo nel centro di Nizza, all’ultimo piano di un palazzo storico con vista diretta sul porto, che sembra chiudersi proprio sotto il suo porticato di colonne. Aprite la porta d’ingresso, e avrete una meravigliosa sensazione di tranquillità e di relax.

Collegato visivamente al porto e alla città, il LOFT DE RONICE è allo stesso tempo luogo di rifugio privato per il corpo e per la mente. Uno spazio che va al di là del tempo, fatto di materiali nobili e semplici, forte ma non intimidatorio, elegante ma non ostentoso.

La storia del palazzo nasce intorno al 1840, quando viene autorizzata la costruzione di due immobili a tre piani su arcate e porticati con al centro una chiesa in stile neoclassico, Notre Dame du Port. Le costruzioni, attribuite all’architetto Joseph Vernier, sono protette dalla sovrintendenza francese.

The full-height doors enhance the sense of abstraction and silence offered by the LOFT DE RONICE with its full/empty, height and open/close effects.

A staircase connects the living area with the attic, where you will find two more bedrooms equipped with bathrooms.

The en suite bedroom has a study corner from which you can access the main room in the attic, where you will find an exposed bathtub, a walk-in wardrobe and a separate bathroom.

The other bedroom, which is smaller, has also been designed to create a surprise effect, with its exposed bathroom separated only by a glass wall making the room seem much more spacious.

A wide recreation area, with a snooker table and a reading corner, connects and completes the two rooms.

The loft is also provided with a double garage, in the basement, which can be accessed by a lift.

Il loft è nato dalla ristrutturazione di oltre 300 mq su due piani, collegati visivamente tra loro da un grande soppalco grazie al quale lo sguardo sia apre sui quasi sei metri d’altezza del soggiorno; qui un ampio e moderno camino accoglie e riscalda l’ambiente, favorendo la convivialità.

Una quinta curva lucida accoglie gli ospiti con riflessi di luce e di emozioni.

Le porte a tutta altezza enfatizzano la caratteristica di astrazione e percezione del silenzio che il LOFT DE RONICE offre ai suoi ospiti in un gioco di vuoti e pieni, di altezze, di aperture e di chiusure.

Una scala collega il piano della zona giorno al sottotetto, dove si trovano altre due camere complete di bagni.

La camera en suite ha un angolo studio da cui si accede alla grande stanza nel sottotetto, dove si trova una vasca da bagno a vista, una cabina armadio e un bagno separato.

La seconda camera più piccola è stata concepita anch’essa per creare stupore con il bagno a vista separato dalla camera solo da una parete in vetro, grazia al quale la camera sembra molto più ampia.

Il loft possiede anche un garage doppio, nel seminterrato, accessibile dall’ascensore.
