Dear Ithacan, March 10, 2016 An organization on campus is hosting an event we think you will be interested in! Mama’s Llamas Lovin’ Animal Right Awareness Agency is hosting a benefit dinner with Ithaca College’s Active Minds chapter in Spring 2017 to raise funds for a new full time position in the CAPs department, and to raise awareness of therapeutic animals. There was a lot of concern in 2014 when the CAPS budget to hire an additional counselor was not as heavily financially supported by the IC Administration. Mama’s Llamas Lovin’ want to support Active Minds and CAPS in this initiative in conjunction with Tomp- kins County SCPA. We would like to invite Ithaca College students to attend the benefit dinner on April 23rd, 2017, and to offer the opportunity for the students to volunteer for Tompkins County SPCA or to join Active Minds. Mama’s Llamas Lovin’ Animal Right Awareness Agency is hosting a benefit dinner with Ithaca College’s Active Minds chapter in Spring 2017 to raise funds for a new full time position in the CAPs department, and to raise awareness of therapeutic animals.
