Role and Responsibility
The Royal Medical Corps provides medical and dentistry services to all the 3 branches of the MAF. Ithas 3 military hospitals and military clinics throughout the country.
Organization Structure
The Royal Medical Corps maintains 3 Armed Forces Hospital (Hospital Angkatan Tentera - HAT) for all
of the three services. It also maintains mini hospitals called Rumah Sakit Angkatan Tentera (RSAT) atmajor military concentration, and outpatient clinics and dentistry called Pusat Perubatan AngkatanTentera (PPAT) and Pusat Pergigian Angkatan Tentera (PGAT) in various camps and bases. HAT has afull blown medical facilities equivalent to the best medical centers in the country. PPAT is a smallerversion with surgery and ward facility while PPAT provides only outpatient treatments. In addition itprovide Field Medical Services such as Regimental Aid Post (RAP) and Company Aid Post (CAP).There is also a Territorial Army Medical Corps under the KKD.
