A water purifier is a device used for removing unwanted chemicals and biological contaminants from water obtained
from water bodies such as rivers, lakes, etc., to produce pure drinking water, which is fit for human consumption or for
industrial use. Water purifiers are categorized into ‘point of use’ and ‘point of entry’ water purifiers. Point of use (POU)
water purifiers can be directly installed at the tap water supply point, whereas, point of entry (POE) water purifiers are
