Etraction is a professional and reliable distributor of various leading tyre brands that required a professional dynamic website to market their products while allowing staff members with no web experience to easily create and manage content and product catalogues. The website was to be compatible with all browsers and tablets. Malas identified SharePoint 2013 as the platform of choice to achieve their objectives and Mint Management Technologies as their implementation partner.

Malas’ requirements were as follows:

Requirements

Malas’ requirements for the Etraction website were very specific. Mint implemented the solution using a combination of out of the box SharePoint capabilities as well as a custom developed web part to showcase their different product catalogues. The solution allows users to interact with the site by browsing to their product category of choice (Tyres, Wheels, Components or OE Fitment), select a brand which will return products for the selected product category and brand combination. A further level of refining results was required for OE Fitment which allows users to refine their results by selecting a car make, model and model version, showing only products relevant to the specified model version.
