Other Junior Riders

Swimming

• Interhouse year 6 – 1st in freestyle and 1st Individual Medley. • Interhouse year 7 – 1st in freestyle and 1st Individual Medley. • Interhouse year 7 - Winner of Schools Victor Ludorum award for swimming. • Interhouse year 8 – No event or results due to Covid -19. • Pembroke School Boats event – final leg swimmer of Year 8 Set 1 team that won the event and the “Fish” trophy. • Qualified for the IAPS UK Swimming Gala in June 2020 in the 50m Freestyle; subsequently cancelled post Covid-19. Rugby and Hockey:

• Selected for 2020 Pembroke 1st team hockey and cricket tour to South Africa. • Under 11’s first team rugby in year 6 - won 6, lost 1. Rugby 7’s - won 9, drew 2, lost 4. • Under 11’s first team Ndume rugby, result 5th. • Under 13’s first team hockey in year 7 (no rugby because of covid19). • Under 13’s first team hockey in year 8 (no fixtures due to covid- 19).

Secondary sports = Squash

• Year 6 – played 5th seed against the Banda and Peponi. • Year 7 – played 4th seed against the Banda.

Hobbies

• Mountain bike riding – Kilimanjaro 7 to 3 Mountain Bike Challenge. Kids race = 1st twice and 2nd once.

Adult race = 1st once, 2nd once, third once. • Motocross racing - Currently lying 4th in 85cc East African Motor Sports Club Kenya National Championship. • Team participant in four triathlons, winning Juniors event once. • Climbed Mt Kenya to point Lenana in February 2021.
