Consider who will be in the audience.

Interact as much as possible.

Make your presentation appeal to them.

Slide Design

Use slides to enhance presentation.

Use pictures, etc. to make the presentation lively.

Don’t include pictures that don’t add to your purpose.

Make sure you have NO errors in slides.

Limit the number of points.

Make font size large enough for audience to see.

Use white space.

Don’t include everything you will say.

Relax and have fun.

Rehearse. Rehearse some more.

Have an introduction which introduces all presenters, the role they will play, and an overview.

Practice smooth transitions between speakers, if presenting with others.

Pay attention to other speakers in your group.

Coordinate slide changes.

Use nervous energy.
