Uploading Videos

1. Upload them FIRST to a folder on your computer.

2. Disconnect the camera.

3. Open Windows Movie Maker.

4. In the “task pane”, choose “import video”.

5. IMPORTANT: when you upload video, UNCHECK the box that says break movie into clips! You probably don’t want this.

Shooting Good Video

• DON’T rely on your hands to be steady. Always look for ways to make the camera more steady.

• Use tripods, monopods, etc.• DON’T zoom and pan much at all! Your movie

will take on the “roller coaster” effect very quickly. Hard to watch!

• DO look over AFI materials to help you decide on the angle of your shot. Be creative!
