Scaffold and Access SolutionsOvercome any access challenge

As a leading supplier and contractor of scaffolding and access solutions, we have the engineering skills, qualified and experienced personnel, and material resources to tackle even the most complex access challenge.

We can design and supply scaffolding to any type and scale, as well as swing stages and mechanical access, and provide rope access as an alternative to fixed scaffold. Large scale management packages for major projects in the oil and gas, resource or industrial sectors, include supply, storage, stock management, transport and maintenance of scaffold material at remote offshore and onshore locations.

Rope Access

SRG Global has a team of experienced and trained rope access technicians who are available to provide a range of services on difficult to access structures or locations where scaffolding and other access solutions are too costly or not practical.

Aligned to internationally recognised standards through membership of IRATA, SRG Global employs comprehensive safety and quality management systems for the use of rope access techniques across drilling, geotechnical, industrial and construction projects.

Scaffolders

SRG Global provide an on-site workforce of experienced scaffolders and riggers, wherever your project may be.

Scaffolding

We provide modular scaffold (Kwikstage), aluminium mobile scaffold, A-frame scaffold, Ring Lock system, stair access and accessories as well as swing stages and a range of hoists from 100kg to 3 tonne including material hoists, combi lifts and winches.

Aluminium scaffold includes altrex rolling towers, folding units and spandeck.

A-frame scaffolding includes A-frame system, ladder access and accessories.

Swing stages provided are Altrex swing stages with flexible configurations and accessories.

SRG Global is a leading provider of asset integrity services from inspection, reporting, planning and implementing the required services to maintain assets within the mining, industrial and oil and gas industries. Our asset management and repair services are supported through an extensive network of facilities and personnel. Our project management team maximises workforce productivity while minimising asset downtime and cost through effective planning, scheduling and execution using a multidisciplinary workforce (structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and civil).

Industrial cleaning

We have experience delivering high pressure water and vacuum loading services across Australia and New Zealand. High pressure cleaning services remove dirt, scale, and other unwanted materials from surfaces and structures. We can undertake any size, high and ultra-high-pressure water blasting, offering a range of state-of-the-art mobile equipment with water pressure capability.

We have a range of high and ultra-high-pressure units ranging from 3,000psi-45,000psi for all types of maintenance and are well resourced and capable of providing this technology to our clients.

Shutdown services

SRG Global has quick response shutdown crews providing scaffold and access solutions, and mechanical trade support from the ground and rope access. Our experienced and qualified workforce can deliver safe, high quality work fully supported by our engineering-led specialist maintenance and mining services teams. From planned and emergency shutdowns to mechanical upgrades, we are able to deliver a tailored solution to critical path projects to suit our customers’ requirements.

Sustaining capital projects

SRG Global has experience in delivering minor plant upgrades and modifications for clients within their sustaining capital projects divisions. Electrical ContractingPowering your projects

SRG Global’s electrical contracting division works principally within the resources sector as well as for commercial and industrial clients. We pride ourselves on being an innovative, flexible and responsive long-term partner to our major clients, whilst remaining a loyal and committed supplier to many smaller enterprises.

SRG Global’s electrical contracting division provide industrial electrical installation services, air conditioning installation and maintenance, IT and data cabling, communications and security system provision, labour hire and shutdowns.

With an extensive portfolio of completed projects, SRG Global enjoys a reputation for engineering excellence, rapid response and value-driven solutions, all delivered in an atmosphere of open and honest communication.

Mining and industrial electrical contracting

SRG Global is a major supplier of electrical engineering solutions to mining enterprises and industry -

designing, delivering and installing HV and LV systems, switchgear and control systems, take off units, lighting, process control, hazard warning and both overground and underground power systems.

SRG Global undertakes complete solution delivery, from procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning and maintenance through to final decommissioning.

Shutdowns

SRG Global has partnered many of the most important resource and industrial enterprises in implementing complex shutdowns. Understanding that safety is critical and timing crucial,the team makes a full pre-planning assessment that includes physical access, cranage requirements, guarding and integration with existing and ongoing operations.

Communications

SRG Global is an industry leader in the installation of IT, communications and security systems in both new and existing production facilities and accommodation units. Cabling employed includes a complete range

of data network cables, copper telecommunication cables and fibre optic cables.

Air Conditioning

SRG Global installs and maintains air conditioning facilities in industrial premises and accommodation units, with particular emphasis on mining and construction camps in the Pilbara.

Installations typically include refrigerations, ducted and split system air conditioning solutions which, by virtue of their location, are required to run fault-free for long periods in the toughest of conditions.

Labour Hire

SRG Global provide comprehensive labour hire requirements across a range of industries for construction, maintenance, repairs, minor works, shutdowns and decommissioning activities. Our pool of experienced and qualified labour includes fitters, welders, riggers, scaffolders, concrete workers and other trades. Our abrasive blasting and protective coatings services are undertaken throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Surface Protection and RemediationExtending the life of your asset

Our decades of experience across every kind of building project means we can devise a specialist maintenance and protection program for structures of any size, material or age. At any stage of the asset’s life cycle we can blast clean and restore exterior surfaces, apply protective coatings waterproofing, and paint. We have also developed specialised techniques and products for architectural and facade restoration, structural crack repair, and ongoing monitoring. Protective CoatingsProtective coatings extending the life of your assets

SRG Global has extensive experience in all aspects of protective coatings. Services undertaken and our extensive range of mobile plant allows us to carry out field operations wherever the location.

We have an extensive range of cleaning and preparation equipment from standard air abrasive blasting, UHP water jetting through to specialist power tools.

Fire proofing and fire protection

We supply a wide range of fireproofing and fire protection products including monokote, zonolite and Kaowool. For exterior application of fire protection to steel requiring

rating, SRG Global is an approved applicator of Chartek, Thermo Lag, Fendolite MII and Pyrocrete 241 for petrochemical plants as well as most single pot intumescent paint coatings used in commercial buildings.

Pipe wrapping

SRG Global has many years of experience in pipe wrapping of smaller diameter pipes. We regularly carry out field wrapping of filed welds on all line sizes, this service generally also includes the internal coating of the weld which could be cementitious or organic materials such as epoxy.

Penstock painting

We have considerable experience with penstock re-coating having completed multi-million dollar projects such as the replacement of external

protective lead based coating on the three penstocks that feed into the Tuai power station in Waikaremoana and the internal coating of the Poatina Penstock in Tasmania and six penstock internal relines at Roxburgh.

Metal spraying and thermal spray coating

SRG Global provides specialist metal thermal spraying services for various clients in both the public and private sectors. We have significant experience in the application of thermally sprayed aluminium and have completed a variety of other metal spraying projects including on the Auckland Harbour Bridge in New Zealand.

Tasks such as ultra high-pressure water blasting, refractory management and materials handling normally require several different contractors to handle each element of the job. SRG Global is unique in that we can self-perform almost every facet of preventative maintenance, including shutdown planning, access, industrial cleaning and rectification works.

Refractory services

SRG Global is a leading provider of refractory maintenance services, consistently bringing our client’s project in on-time and with an excellent safety performance. We carry out shut downs and ongoing maintenance works as well as new construction for the cement, chemical, pulp and paper, steel, aluminium, dairy, meat, timber and petrochemical industries as well as for crematoriums, boiler and glass manufacturers, brickworks and primary and secondary smelters.

High pressure cleaning

We provide safe and efficient high pressure cleaning services throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our experienced Ausjet trained operators, comprehensive work methodologies and vast range of spare parts and accessories, ensures that equipment break down is minimised and the job is done in the safest and most efficient way possible.

Vacuum loading

SRG Global provide safe and environmentally sound hydrocarbon removal from industrial sites. With 3A rated self-contained vacuum loading trucks, we can ensure the safety to both our client’s assets and our own employees. Our technicians are highly trained and experienced in managing this hazardous operation safety and in an environmentally conscience manner.

Hazardous materials handling

Refractory linings and installations

SRG Global carry out work for the cement, chemical, pulp and paper,

steel, aluminium, dairy, meat, timber and petrochemical industries as well as for crematoriums, boiler and glass manufacturers, brickworks and primary and secondary smelters.

Our refractory services include the design, supply, construction, installation and maintenance for all refractory linings as well as refractory installations, corrosion protection, abrasion protection, acid protection material supply, refractory design / specifications, refractory material supply and the process and supply of vermiculite.

Bridge MaintenancePreserving vital infrastructure

Timber and concrete bridges exist in various shapes and forms. All of them require maintenance and the owners of these bridges are looking for cost effective means to maintain or upgrade them.

Some bridges require ongoing substructure maintenance, whilst others need deck and expansion joint maintenance and enhancements. Guardrail and safety upgrades are also common treatments.

Structural Strengthening

SRG Global can provide a number of methods to upgrade existing bridges including carbon fibre strengthening and external post-tensioning using strand and bar systems.

Our specialist in-house design engineers, teamed with our experienced site personnel and access teams enable SRG Global to undertake all works associated with your bridge strengthening project from start to finish.

Bearing replacement

SRG Global can provide bridge bearing replacement including all access, temporary works design and jacking.

Concrete overlays and joint maintenance

We have extensive experience in bridge refurbishment projects for local authorities where concrete overlays or joint maintenance are required. We can perform all works in-house including design, access, construction and maintenance.

Remedial diagnosis and investigation

Understanding the extent and condition of any structural defect is critical to the process of rectification. Wind Farm MaintenanceCoatings repair and maintenance services for wind farms

SRG Global has highly skilled technicians available with a particular focus on the coatings repair of towers, nacelles, blades and kiosks using a combination of rope and non-rope access technicians and specialist platforms for blade access. We also offer mechanical teams for bolt tensioning and skilled technicians for asset condition surveys.

Blade work

SRG Global provide blade inspection works via rope access and drone technology, blade repair works, leading edge protection, lighting protection system maintenance, power curve upgrades and blade bearing bolt maintenance.

Rope access specialists

SRG Global has a large team of rope access technicians specifically trained and competent to provide wind farm maintenance services. The technicians are responsible for taking sole charge of individual turbines, turning them off and on and carrying out isolations so work can be performed safely.

Rigging and mechanical fitting

Competent riggers are available to assist with component change outs. Electrical / mechanical technicians are available to carry out service, retrofits and ad-hoc projects. Bolt torqueing and high voltage cable replacement is also able to be undertaken by SRG Global.

Tower work

SRG Global provide a range of tower work services including inspection and torque checking of internal tower D ring fittings, ladder change outs, fall arrest inspections, internal and external cleaning following chemical leaks, grease build up or smoke damage and all protection coating work on towers and nacelles, internal and external.

Meteorological masts

SRG Global provide bolt torque checking, protective coatings and component change outs / servicing for meteorological masts.

Penstock MaintenanceMaintaining penstocks throughout Australia and New Zealand

SRG Global has considerable experience with penstock re-coating having completed multi-million dollar projects such as the replacement of external protective lead-based coating on three penstocks feeding into the Tuai power station in Waikaremoana and the internal coating of the Poatina Penstock in Tasmania as well as six penstock internal relines at Roxburgh.

We have a specialist team that typically complete two to three penstock internal re-linings or internal repairs each year, most of which are on the Waikato River in New Zealand.

Transmission Tower MaintenanceSafe and innovative solutions for maintenance of transmission towers

Providing safe and innovative solutions for maintenance of transmission towers and similar difficult-to-access structures. Works are achieved using fall protected free climbing and rope access techniques, which significantly improves flexibility and eliminates the need for complex scaffolding in remote areas. SRG Global’s ‘live line’ accreditation means most maintenance can be carried out without the need for outages.

Services include high pressure and abrasive induced water jetting, application of protective coatings, tower erection and construction work, inspection services and steel replacement and bolt torquing.

Concrete deterioration causes serious problems for many structures ranging from the smallest residential complex to large commercial buildings and civil structures. Atmospheric and environmental conditions can impact concrete structures over time, triggering reinforcement corrosion and spalling of the outer concrete layers. SRG Global has the expertise

to not only accurately diagnose such problems but to repair the concrete with skill and expediency.

SRG Global offers the most advanced technology for monitoring at mines as well as anchor monitoring on dams.

Mine monitoring

We offer radar monitoring of mines utilising Reutech Mining’s Movement and Surveying Radars. The services offer safer working environments

through reduction of risk with the areas being monitored 24/7 in all weather conditions which can provide instantaneous safety alerts of live video feed.

Slope stability features include real time detection of sub-millimetric slope movements <1mm, geographically referenced surveying information, advanced user-defined alarm generation software, selectable scan speeds and recording and playback functionality.

Dam anchor monitoring

SRG Global are leaders in providing monitoring systems and solutions for high capacity ground anchors. Generally installed in dams, the anchors are required to be monitored periodically to ensure they are still performing at their specified requirements.
