We focus on using STEM, specifically engineering, as a platform to inspire and change the lives of those in our school, community, and world so that we can make a global difference through FIRST.
1500+ People introduced to FIRST
through our outreach
We developed a K-12 FIRST pipeline helping to sustain our team and provide an opportunity to mentor our younger FIRST teams. This gives us a chance to excite students about engineering at any age. Our recruitment and rebranding campaign excited our high school about robotics and doubled our team in size.

We host monthly STEM-centric activity nights at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House for children. We provided two new rookie teams in our area with resources to help further their teams. We started planning a long term project to advocate FIRST and STEM education at a political level by engaging our district legislators.

In Soroti, Uganda, we travel to the Beacon of Hope School; a high school for ex-child soldiers. We ran NXT and LEGO robotics camps for the students and instructed teachers how to further engineering in the classroom. Our goal is to start the first FTC team in the community as we return for the third year this summer.

UNESCO Peace through Science Award
We traveled to an inner-city neighborhood in LA and taught the elementary students NXT and LEGO, introducing them to the world of engineering and FIRST and giving them the option to walk away from gang life. This summer we will return for the third year to further the skills of the students.
