This can be done in lots of different ways – measuring weight of objects (kitchen or bathroom scales), using a ruler/measuring tapes to find the length of objects, capacity using measuring jugs from the kitchen. Try to be as accurate as possible – start at 0 and remember to use the correct units of measure.

Remember to write in full sentences which makes sense with capital letters and full stops. Try to make your sentences exciting, using clauses, fronted adverbials and a variety of conjunctions.

Science: Plants – Living Things Read the information below to help remind you of living things. Activity - create a poster to explain one (or all) of the seven characteristics of living things to a younger sibling or for the Year 3’s. On your poster you should try to have an animal and plant example (this could be a drawing). Remember to check spellings before you write! Make the posters bright and eye-catching and fairly simple so the message is not confused.
