THE CHALLENGE Since 2014, European banks, insurance companies and investment firms have implemented CRD IV and Solvency II reporting. Every year new reports are issued and have to be implemented. This increase is also reflected in the number of published taxonomies. By the end of 2017, 8 versions will be published by the EBA, 3 versions by the EIOPA. For these companies, the learning process is over, the major concepts are acquired and the process to collect data is up and running. The next challenge to address is: How to make the reporting process more efficient? ARELLE, ACSONE EDITIONS, a powerful XBRL toolkit Since 2014, Acsone has designed intuitive, reliable and cost-effective XBRL reports production software solutions and components that make XBRL technologies available and affordable in almost all business situations, thanks to its powerful XBRL toolkit. Most of the current approaches for filling in XBRL reports with data consist of preparing a table for data input. Unfortunately, Supervisory Authorities expect business information within a multi- dimensional structure. How to organize this conversion, which is sometimes very painful ? The mapping between table-oriented presentations into multi-dimensional information actually exists in the taxonomy: the table linkbases. Acsone is specialized in the implementation of table linkbases; the following useful connectors already exist: Excel support: an immediate gateway to a professional environment; HTML support: a solution to publish XBRL reports; 2-axis support: a solution for table (Row-Column) -oriented presentations; SQL support: to map XBRL facts into multi-dimensional and presentation axes, to load XBRL reports into a database or a data warehouse; Native XBRL editor: the edition and correction of any XBRL report are easily possible. This implementation of a data connector is a question of days, not months ! Validation process is a real Damocles’ sword in the entire XBRL reporting process: a non- conformity costs a huge amount of time and money. This is why it is critical to give an easy and quickly understandable access to errors explanations. The Acsone’s strategy is to give access to XBRL standards: to anyone: we preconize intuitive implementation; most of the time, training is useless; from anywhere: each feature is available from the User Interface, through a Command Line, from Web services, in Windows 64 bits, macOS and Linux environments; at anytime: our solution supports all European taxonomies; a new version is immediately supported. THE CHALLENGESince 2014, European banks, insurance companies and investment firms have implemented CRD IV and Solvency II reporting.

The next challenge to address is:

• How to make the reporting process more efficient?

ARELLE, ACSONE EDITIONS, a powerful XBRL toolkitSince 2014, Acsone has designed intuitive, reliable and cost-effective XBRL reports production software solutions and components that make XBRL technologies available and affordable in almost all business situations, thanks to its powerful XBRL toolkit.

Most of the current approaches for filling in XBRL reports with data consist of preparing a table for data input. Unfortunately, Supervisory Authorities expect business information within a multi-dimensional structure. How to organize this conversion, which is sometimes very painful ?

The mapping between table-oriented presentations into multi-dimensional information actually exists in the taxonomy: the table linkbases. Acsone is specialized in the implementation of tablelinkbases; the following useful connectors already exist:

• Excel support: an immediate gateway to a professional environment;• HTML support: a solution to publish XBRL reports;• 2-axis support: a solution for table (Row-Column) -oriented presentations;• SQL support: to map XBRL facts into multi-dimensional and presentation axes, to load

XBRL reports into a database or a data warehouse;• Native XBRL editor: the edition and correction of any XBRL report are easily possible.

This implementation of a data connector is a question of days, not months !Validation process is a real Damocles’ sword in the entire XBRL reporting process: a non-conformity costs a huge amount of time and money. This is why it is critical to give an easy and quickly understandable access to errors explanations. The Acsone’s strategy is to give access to XBRL standards:

• to anyone: we preconize intuitive implementation; most of the time, training is useless;• from anywhere: each feature is available from the User Interface, through a Command

Line, from Web services, in Windows 64 bits, macOS and Linux environments;• at anytime: our solution supports all European taxonomies; a new version is immediately

supported.
