Monthly Challenge JUNE Introduction: Playing outside is not only fun, but it also allows you to be creative, explore nature, run, jump, cheer and more! Even Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don play a nature game, Dino Ball! Make Your Own Extensions: Take turns! Ask your friends to develop an outdoor game too, and take turns playing each other’s games. 1. 2. Make a nature award for the winner or winning team in your game. Collect some natural items you find on the ground such as leaves, twigs, flower petals, etc… Make sure to only take fallen items and not to pick anything off of plants or trees. Tape or glue the times to a piece of paper and decorate it with any other materials you like such as markers, glitter, or stickers. Even if you don’t win the game, the card will be fun to make! Challenge: Create your own nature game! Decide on the rules to your game and gather any materials you need to play. Note: The game must take place outdoors, it cannot hurt anyone, and, it cannot harm nature. Fill out the “Make Your Own Nature Game” Worksheet to get started and then invite some friends or family over to play. Remember, games are about having fun - always be sure to display good sportsmanship. NATURE GAME!
