Remember: Make sure to wash your hands before you begin. Ask an adult to help you mix the ingredients and put everything into the bags. Serves 2. Ingredients: Equipment: What to do 1 tablespoon sugar 120 ml milk 120 ml double cream ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 2 re-sealable food bags A towel A bowl or a large jug A whisk About 1 kg ice cubes 7 tablespoons salt (rock salt is best but if you use table salt add a couple of extra spoonful) 1. Whisk the milk, cream, sugar and vanilla together in the bowl or jug. 2. Pour the mix into a food bag and ask an adult to make sure it is tightly closed. 3. Put some ice and salt into the second food bag. 4. Next, put the ice cream into the bag with salt and ice, then put the rest of the salt and ice into the bag. Again, make sure that an adult closes it tightly. 5. Wrap the bag in a towel and then…shake it up! Keep shaking the bag until the mixture has frozen. 6. Enjoy your ice cream!
