Hello Everyone,

By the time you read this the National Patrol Rifle Shoot will be over. I’m sure it will have been successful once again.

The Lead reclamation will be starting soon. There will probably be some disruption on the ranges periodically. We are going to post closures when possible. Please be patient as this will be a shot in the arm for our bank account. We will be setting up a committee as to how to allocate any profits. Any ideas please contact me.

The Gun Bash will be held June 23rd from 1:00PM till 6:00PM. We have fliers at the club and tickets are available. Pick up a flier and some tickets to sell. We will be having a seller’s raffle, one sellers ticket per pack of ten.

The annual work bee turnout was great, thanks to all the volunteers.

Ron DuBois and his crew restocked the lake with Hybrid Bluegills the second weekend in May.

We are hosting the MUCC Youth Charity Shoot on August 10th. It would be great if we could get a couple teams of sporting clay shooters to sign-up for it. We will need about 20 volunteers for it. There will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board if you can help. This Event is Good exposure for our club, please come out and support it.

Don’t forget to pay your Dues, avoid late fees.

Car Cruise has started on Friday evenings, come out have a burger and check out the cars. Thanks,

~ John

Isn’t it amazing how those little devils know right where the vein is, and how they always hit it? They must have taken lessons from a nurse.

Many thanks to all of the Range Officers; Ron Opfer & helpers; Bob McLean & helpers; our secretary, Sandy Music; and our Chairman Tim Loynes. A lot of work was done by all, and they deserve a big round of applause! ~ Carol

The Membership Corner Rich Johnson, Membership Secretary

Hi Everyone. I hope you all had a great time at the Wild Game Dinner. You, as members of Multi-Lakes, have done a great job of recruiting members last year. We added 134 new members and had a net gain of 75 members. I would like to ask, if you see someone new, introduce yourself and welcome them to the club. We have had quite a few new and conditional members that have put in a lot of hours this past year, and I thank you all for getting involved. That’s what makes our club great.

Well, it’s that time again for dues collection. We will start taking dues April 1st. Please fill out this form completely, even if you have been a member for years. This is how we are keeping our membership info current and making sure you are getting

emails and Multi-Lakers. If you have questions, please feel free to call me. If you are changing membership status i.e.: regular to working, turning 62 and have been a member for 2 years, or any other change, you must contact me before paying so I can correct your membership card. Bartenders and helpers cannot do this.

I will post a list of the dates I will be at the club collecting dues or you can pay at any Wednesday meeting night of the Chairman, Board, or Membership.

Our first new member meeting this year is Saturday, March 10th, at 10 AM. I would like all chairmen that are interested in new members, to come introduce yourselves. This format works out well and the membership meeting lasts about an hour. I will have a table set up for you to talk to the members before and after the meeting. I will introduce you at the meeting. but for time constraints you will not be

speaking at the meeting. If you let me know ahead of time , I will try to make up committee and chairman name places and sign-up sheets for your tables. We are still looking for some help on the membership committee. If you’re interested, email me at [email protected] or call me at 313-300-5244. If I don’t answer leave me a message. You're probably asking, what will I do if I’m on the membership committee? Here are some of the committee activities: Review and approve applications before

they go to the board Assist with the New Member meeting Help with recruitment at outside

locations and outdoor shows Help give tours of the club to introduce

new members to the different ranges and other areas.
