Make is a design agency specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of bespoke creative projects. We provide full consultancy on concept design, computer imaging & brand logos to bespoke furniture, window display and visual merchandise props.

We are valuable to organisations interested in improving, and building upon their images and identities in the commercial marketplace, who perhaps do not have inhouse art directors, designers or maker installation teams.

Make works with a broad spectrum of clients, including retail shops, advertising & branding agencies, photographers, publishing houses, interior & set designers, restaurants and art galleries, often dealing with high end brands.

Computer generated imagery

Make can create character maquettes and prop prototypes by refining hand drawn ideas into 3d computer generated images. This design to the left is a Facebook cartoon character transformed from a 2d cartoon illustration into a computer rendered sculpture ready for 3d printing.

Bespoke 3d & 2d print design

The essence of Make is our ability to put a project together quickly, efficiently and in line with your budget.

Spotify came to us with a brief to put togehter an award for Calvin Harris’ one billionth record sale. Here we have a picture of the silver foil print, set alongside laser cut 3d lettering, framed for presentation - all in a one week turn around.

Illuminated and non-illuminated signs

At Make we organise the fabrication, print and installation of any type of sign. We have excellent signwriters and illustrators on our books and can create banners, pavement signs, projection signs tailored to your specification.

This sign to the right was made for the immersive Punchdrunk theatre production in Paddington, London.

Brand logo design & shop front signage

Make loves to take the essence of a business and turn it into a brand. We often coordinate all sign and printing aspects from catalogues, brochure layouts, boxes, bags and other packaging in large and small print runs.

Pi restaurant approached Make to design a logo for their woodfired pizza chain. We developed their brief into a natural yet visually striking logo, using elements of their stone baked pizza to reflect the rustic feel of the space.

Visual merchandise props

Our 3d model & prop sculpture can be created by hand, clay modelled, resin cast, laser cut, or CNC machined in varoius materials depending on the purpose, scale or budget of your project.

Shop design; fixtures, fittings & window display

Sunglass shelves, jewellery busts, display islands, unique mannequin designs, bookcases & plinths. At Make we design, fabricate and install for a wide range of retail shops including Selfridges, L'Oreal, Kiehls, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters and more.

Craft mass-production

At Make we follow a process from initial design, to prototype, to production. If you require a mass-production we have the experience and expertise to execute your project.

Last year Make worked with Anthropologie retail to create an Autumn window display. From our initial concept sketches we created a suspended display of thousands of heat treated copper leaves

We have a specific range of constructionist furniture stocked in design shops across the UK. This is an example of our latest product the ‘Illustrator’ desk, a table specifically designed for people who like to draw. It has a adjustable angle top, with pencils neatly forming part of the structure. This is a flat pack prduct designed complete with instruction manual for easy assemblage.

We work with art galleries, museums, restaurants, theatres, pop up's and retail shops to create window displays, install artworks, interior designs and furnitures to create specific experiential atmospheres.

Commercial product photography, set build & studio hire

Make can organise and design any part of your photoshoot, whether it be a scenic painted backdrop, prop making and sourcing, art directing or simply organising your studio hire space.
