) .. E_g.t:Jptian kings were called pharaohs. Fharaohs wore crowns that were covered with a striped blue and gold headdress. A statue o~ the snake goddess, Wadjet, was attached to the Front of the headdress. To wear the headdress; put the headband over your head and slide the chin strap under your chin. 9. Draw a long beard on gold paper. Add a pattern using the black pen; then cut out the shape. Foldover the top of the beard; then glue it onto the chin strap. 6.Trim off the ends of the strips. Then; glue the two sides onto the top of the headdress. Tape the headband from step I onto the back of the headdress, like this. 3. Forthe sides; cut a longstrip ofpaperand foldit inhalf.Then, unfold the top of the headdress. Layonecorneron the foldedpaper and draw around it. Draw around the top of the headdress here. 10 8. Fold the end of the snake/s tail behind its body.Then; tape it onto the snake/s back; leaving a loop. Glue the snake onto the top of the headdress. 5. Cut about 20 thin strips of gold paper for the stripes on the headdress. Glue them onto the top and across both sides; about a finger/ s width apart. 2. Cut a thick strip of paper that is a little wider than your face. Fold it in half and draw a curved line across the paper to the fold. Cut along the line;through both layers. 7. Draw a snake with a longbody ongoldpaper.Add a hoodbelow the head. Use a blackball-point pen to draw a faceand lineson the hood. Cut out the snake. l_ M- o 4.
