I start claiming credit for things God did for me.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to

help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

I stop asking God for help.

Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no

I stop trusting God.

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart

take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:13-14 [NASB]

I become pessimistic about the future.

He will publicly show me His favor. (v. 5)

He will be good to me no matter what happens. (v. 6a)

He will take me to heaven one day. (v. 6b)
