‘PRIME’ Punnets

Punnets are semi rigid plastic containers used for storing and packing fresh produce, typically fruits and

vegetables. These PET/ rPET punnets are lightweight and offer various benefits over other traditional

forms of packing. Punnets provide strength and safety to the produce contained inside, besides

keeping them fresh for longer periods of time as against other forms of packing.

AVI Global Plast recognised the importance of fresh packing that offers packers Aesthetics, Safety and

Longer Shelf Life before developing its ‘PRIME’ range of punnets. These help in delivering a farm fresh

product to the consumer’s table and providing a delightful experience, always. The punnets are

designed to provide proper stacking with strategically positioned vents that provide the right amount

of pre-cooling to produce like grapes, thereby ensuring the least amount of power and time is utilised

for perishable produce to reach the market.

dynamic demands of the ever-evolvoing market.

Sustainability through rPET

Developing and maintaining long term customer relationships depends on our ability to create

innovative and sustainable plastic packaging solutions. Recycled, reusable and sustainable packaging is

the way of the future. Eco-conscious customers, retailers, packers and re-packers are demanding that

we create non-polluting facilities of production.

With this in mind, AVI Global Plast has invested in a state of the art manufacturing facility that is

capable of processing post consumer PET bottle waste into rPET sheets and further these sheets into

end products like punnets and trays. The right selection of technology has helped us achieve closed-

loop manufacturing in a short span of time.

AVI Global Plast offers its ‘PRIME’ range of punnets in environment friendly materials like PET and r-PET.

These products are not only environment friendly but also 100% recyclable.

‘Cestas PRIME’

Las cestas son contenedores de plástico semi-rígidos utilizados para el almacenamiento y envasado de

los productos frescos, típicamente frutas y verduras. Estas cestas PET / rPET son ligeros y ofrecen varias

ventajas sobre otras formas tradicionales de embalaje. Las cestas proporcionan fuerza y seguridad al

producto contenido en el interior, además de mantenerlos frescos durante períodos más largos de

tiempo comparados con otras formas de embalaje.

Con esto en mente, AVI Global Plast ha invertido en una instalación de fabricación de última

generación que es capaz de procesar botellas PET de post consumo de residuos en hojas rPET y luego

convertir estas hojas en productos finales como cestas y bandejas. La selección correcta de la

tecnología ha ayudado a lograr la fabricación de circuito cerrado en un corto espacio de tiempo.

AVI Global Plast ofrece su gama 'prime' de cestas de materiales respetuosos con el medio ambiente,

como el PET y el r-PET. Estos productos son no sólo favorable al medio ambiente sino también 100%

2002 / 72 / EC (and subsequent updates) as well as REACH norms for materials intended to come in

contact with food items. Besides, AVI Global Plast’s production facility is IS0 22000 and BRC certified,

keeping in mind global quality standards and requirements.

Las cestas PRIME están hechos con materias primas al 100% de calidad alimentaria, de conformidad
