Maintenance trainingTrouble-free system operation depends largely on the knowledge and expertise of your operators and

maintenance technicians. This applies to the actual operation, and dealing with everyday service and

troubleshooting. That is why it is important that all persons involved in these matters - from the operator

until the experienced technician - have been trained how to use and maintain the system.

Vanderlande offers two types of training courses:>> Fundamental maintenance training at our training centre in

Veghel, the Netherlands. This includes simulations of system operations under professional supervision.

>> Equipment maintenance training, which focuses on the maintenance of the systems present at your own site. Training is given at our training centre but can also be given on site if required.

All our training courses are given by knowledgeable trainers with many years of practical experience maintaining Vanderlande equipment. There is a strong focus on practical maintenance needs of Vanderlande equipment, including effective troubleshooting and solving of problems and situations that can arise in everyday practice.

By using these newly acquired skills, the participant will be able to minimise planned (preventive maintenance) and unplanned (problem) outages of Vanderlande systems.

In addition, in the event Vanderlande’s support is necessary to solve a problem, the participant and the Vanderlande service engineer will be able to use the same terminology, which should result in a more efficient way of solving the problem. This will result in fewer and shorter unplanned outages and a higher availability of your system.

Training courses

Fundamental maintenance trainingThis two-day training provides information about daily maintenance of Vanderlande systems and basic information about the control systems. Handling outages that occur in actual practice is also part of the programme. The training is suitable for both new and experienced employees.

The focus of the training will be on practical application. Therefore, both days consist of numerous exercises, with the purpose of allowing the trainee to gain hands-on experience.

Equipment maintenance trainingThe programme for this training is tailor-made, because it is being set up in close cooperation with you. The difference with the fundamental maintenance training is that you are sure that the training covers the Vanderlande equipment used within your own organisation and the principle of this equipment, the daily, corrective and preventive maintenance and fault finding. If your employees have not yet followed training at all, it is advised to start with a fundamental maintenance training on site. Based on the level of the participants the equipment maintenance training can be given at a basic level or at an advanced level.
