First, try to find an available keyword loaded domain name andbuy it. There is a great number of registrars on the internet butMike, as I incidentally, endorse Godaddy.com. It has competitivepricing with great offers available all the time and extra servicesyou might at some point need.

Since your lead page is targeted at the local market and aparticular niche, the best domain would be a combination oflocation and business with a .com extension.

I’m saying that because even if some might say that a .com and.biz domain can rank the same in the search engines, the peoplethat are going to be looking at the search results returned fortheir query trust the .com extension more than the .biz. So in myopinion it would be better to have a less keyword loaded .comdomain than a fully keyword loaded .biz domain.

Another point I would like to make since lots of people are askingthis is about dashes in the URL, so far there doesn’t seem to be apenalization by the search engines on URLs but their algorithmschange daily and you can’t know for sure that this will be thecase tomorrow or next month. Hence f you can, grab the domainname without the dashes.

One thing you should know about Godaddy.com is that theyhave a strong “up-sell” policy. This means that they will try to sellyou quite a lot of products along with the domain you areregistering.
