Sentences- are group of words. Meaningful units of thought.Paragraph – group of sentences. Organized meaningful units of thought which develops in one main idea. Main idea- stated in topic sentence.Topic Sentence- captures the general idea of the paragraph. Supporting Information- specific information that helps the reader understand the topic sentence.
