ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR:
Organizational Behaviour (OB) is the study and application of Knowledge about how people as
individuals and as groups act within organizations. It helps to identify ways in which people can act
more effectively.
ccording to !obbins" #Organizational Behaviour is a field of study that investigates the impact that
individuals groups and structure have on behaviour within organizations for the purpose of applying
such $nowledge toward improving an organization%s effectiveness.&
OB is a scientific discipline amd it is concerned with development of concepts as well as research" and
the application of such $nowledge in order to increase the effectiveness of organizations. 'urther" it
studies behaviour at many levels of analysis" namely" individual" group and organizational.
