Shri Shivaji Education Society Amravati’s Amravati
Dr.Panjabrao alias BhausahebDeshmukhfounded“Shri Shivaji Education Society;
Amravati”in 1931.It is one of the reputed educational societies in central India. The college and
various other institutions run by the society offer course in Arts, Fine Arts, Commerce, Science,
Agriculture, Education Enginering,Manegement,Medicine,Physicaleducation, Law and Science
and Technology .The society imparts education in the district of Amravati,Yavatmal,Akola,
Buldhana,Chandrapur, Wardha, Bhandara and Nagpur. It is a matter of great pride that five
degree colleges run by society have been accredited with potential for excellence by UGC, New
Delhi.

The college was established in 1960 with Arts faculty. With the generous help of
the philanthropist late Shri Sitaramji Choudhari, the Science and Commerce faculties
were introduced. The college has now grown into a leading and prestigious educational
institution in Vidharbha region of Maharastra.It has been re-accredited it with „B‟ grade
by NAAC, Bangalore.
The campus of college is located on the bank of sacred river Chudaman.College has kept
pace with the requirements in academic of the modern world. There are spacious and wel
equipped computer laboratory and science laboratories on the campus.
The college campus is conveniently assessable to all parts of warud and near by
places.Fully computerized administrative section on campus is always there to help the
students.
Our motto is quality education to our students from rural area as the college is
surroundedrural and tribal area. We have introduced many carrier oriented-
programme/courses on the campus.
Apart from regular courses, Yashavantarao Chavhan Open University, Nashik
sanction study a center to our college where students can evil new educational
opportunities. Highly qualified and trained staff leaves no stone unturned to make the
students progress in all walks of life.

It gives me an immense pleasure to welcome you all in our premises. M. Fule Arts, Commerce &
S.C. Science College, Warud. This college has always been an institution that aims at exploring
paths trodden& untrodden in quest for excellence in education. We are transforming the youth
into genuine citizens of our nation. The collective efforts of the principal, teaching and non-
teaching staff with the positive response from the students have transformed this college into a
leading institution from Vidarbha region.
Now we are becoming global with changing requirements of the society. Hence we are trying to
maintain pace with changing time, by providing new options & array in education, so as to make
our students to be able to face the challenges in future.
This institution has celebrated its golden jubilee last year in the 2010-11 session enthusiastically
which has given us tremendous boost and courage to march ahed together to achieve our goals
and objectives. We are making continuous efforts to achieve excellence & to fulfill the

The perspective plan, 2020 – 2025 of the Mahatma Fule Arts, Commerce and Sitaramji
Choudhari Science College Warud, Dist. Amravati is prepared by Internal Quality
Assurance Cell of College. The perspective plan is prepared by collecting ideas,
suggestions and concepts from various stakeholders. The IQAC has collected feedback
from Principal, various 32 college committees, Head of Dept. and faculty members.
