Awareness Rally about the safe use of medicines and their storage conditions: National
Pharmacy week was celebrated between 19th to 25th November, 2017 by the Students and Faculty
of School of Pharmacy. Various events like Rangoli competition, Poster making, Collage
making, Video clip making and Slogan writing were organized as the part of celebration with
theme “Know your Medicines , ask your Pharmacist”. Tree Plantation was also done along with
the NSS unit of Maharaja Agrasen University. Rally to nearby area of university was organized
to aware the common people about the safe use of medicines and their storage conditions. In the
rally villager were made aware about the precautions which should be taken regarding the
storage of medicines, their dose, expiry date. Villagers were also made aware about the harmful
consequences of self-medication and over dosing.

Yoga day-21-06-2018 The NSS unit of Maharaja Agrasen University Baddi celebrated International Yoga day with great enthusiasm on 21-06-2018. Event was inaugurated by Prof. R.K Gupta, Vice-Chancellor and Shri Suresh Gupta, Project In-Charge, Maharaja Agrasen University, which was followed by talks on various topic yoga and health. A yoga practice session was conducted and all staff members and students of the university participated. In this session different Asanas of yoga were performed. After performing yoga all were feeling very fresh and energetic. After this Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Gupta and Project Officer Sh. Suresh Gupta highlight the need and importance of Yoga in our day to day life. NSS Coordinator Dr. Inder Parkash, Program officer

The NSS unit of Maharaja Agrasen University Baddi is committed towards mankind and service to society. In continuation, NSS unit organised Blood donation camp on 18-04-2018, in which large number of NSS volunteers and staff members of the University participated. This camp organised with technical assistance by team of doctors and other technical staff from Blood Bank, Government Multi Specialty Hospital, sector-16 Chandigarh.
Maharaja Agrasen University Baddi organised one day camp at Govt. senior secondary School Nanak Pur, PKL. In this camp NSS Volunteers of University along with students of this school took different activities like " Beti Parao Beti Bhachoo'' compain, cleanliness, and also motivate the students of school for healthy way of life. NSS volunteers also organised play for women empowerment.
