OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
On the film dispenser, adjust separator plate (1)with the two thumbnail screws and two hex nutsand washers provided.
Slide separator bar (2) into separator plate, adjustto desired angle, then tighten thumbscrew (3).
Place the film dispenser on the right hand side ofyour table. Place shrink film roll (4) on thedispenser with the film winding from the bottom ofthe roll (5).

Now pull the shrink film (10) onto the top of thesealing pads (11).
Place the red pad (8) over the black sealing padand you are ready to get started. After plugging inthe power pack, turn switch (9) to theposition. (Remember to turn to whenleaving the wand unattended.)

After threading the film through the separator bar(6), place black sealing pad (7) down on the tablejust to the left of your film dispenser.

Make sure the sealing arm (1) is one to two inchespast the folded edges of the shrink film.
Press down the spring loaded sealing arm. Countto three, then pull (trim) the excess shrink filmaway from the sealing arm. Pick the sealing armup off the film and the film roll is started, ready foryour package.
Place the sealing bar on the film to be sealed andactivate the heating cycle by the push button onthe handle of the wand. The film will seal in thetime necessary for sealing and cutting the film.The heating cycle is determined by the operatoradjusting the time assembly on the power pack.
Same as the timed impulse heat except theoperator controls the length of heating bydepressing and holding the button on the handleof the wand.
After the first seal is made, you should now havecreated half a bag and with two more seals youwill finish bagging your item.
Place the item to be wrapped inside the centerfolded film (2).
Slide the item all the way to the left hand corner ofthe film (the sealed edge) (3).

Place the sealing arm to the right of the package(4). Push down on the arm to start the seal.
Then pull the scrap film away with the oppositehand (5) from the film roll to finish the seal.
Seal the remaining open end of your film (6). Theseal is now complete with only two seals.
The film is sealed on one end already from theprevious seal and ready for your next item. Theonly time a new start would be needed is if theseal failed or the film ripped during the process.

SHRINKING YOUR PACKAGE
The heat gun that came with your system (1) has athree way switch; . Switch thecontrol to the position which is rated for
. You can adjust the heat by opening orclosing the vent holes by turning the knob on theside. Running the heat gun with the vents open isrecommended for shrink wrapping. Theswitch is used to cool the gun down after use.
To shrink the film, switch the control to andkeep the gun moving and hovering about four tofive inches (2) away from your product. Heat thesides of your item first, followed by the back andthen the front of the package (3).
The final result should be smooth and free oftears, hot spots and bubbles. Re-package the itemif the results is unsatisfactory for you.

A repair kit (4) comes with the Magic Wandsystem and consists of two Teflon covers, threesealing wires and one fuse.

Turn power supply switch to . Unplug wandfrom power source.
Remove existing Teflon cover (A).
Lift wire (B) from guide screw (C) to allow spring(D) tension to relax.
Remove nut (E) and without stretching spring, liftout screw (F) to further relax wire.
Remove screw (G) and nut (H).
Replace wire (B) noting that the spring (D) loop isbetween terminals of wire (B) and lead wire (J).
Replace screw (F) and nut (E).
Reinsert wire (B) into slot of screw (C).
Place new Teflon cover over wire.
Plug power cord into power source, then turnpower and the unit is ready to operate.
