LEWIS PACHECO (LEWIS PACHECO (LEWIS PACHECO (LEWIS PACHECO (Tamino) is a senior and a Music Major concentrating in piano per-
formance and music education. He has appeared in MTG's Urinetown, You're A
Good Man, Charlie Brown, Legally Blonde and Rent. He was also a cast member in
the WSU Music Department's production of Sweeney Todd and co-starred as Leaf
Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Herr Schultz in
Cabaret.
LEO BIOCCHI LEO BIOCCHI LEO BIOCCHI LEO BIOCCHI (Papageno) is very honored to be performing the role of Papageno. He
currently holds a double-major in Music and Social Work here at Westfield. His past
roles include "Seymour" in Little Shop of Horrors, "Conrad Birdie" in Bye Bye Birdie,
"Abel" in Children of Eden, "Bill Sykes" in Oliver! to name a few. During the Spring
2013 semester, Leo composed and directed an original concert dedicated to his
late friend performed at the University. He wishes to thank his family, his fantastic
friends and wonderful faculty here at Westfield for supporting him enormously. He
especially wishes to recognize Mary Brown Bonacci and Scott Bailey for giving him
this opportunity and continuing to craft his musicianship in ways he never thought
possible.
EMILY STEWART EMILY STEWART EMILY STEWART EMILY STEWART (The Queen of the Night) is a transfer student from upstate New
York. She is currently studying music history and performance here at Westfield
State University. During the last three years she has performed in Measure for
Measure, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Hansel and Gretel, The
Billy Goats Gruff and Cabaret. At Westfield State University Emily is a member of the
University Singers, Music Theater Workshop, and is the Director of the Night Owls
which is a student run a-cappella group. Emily is very happy to be a part of this ex-
perience as it her first full length musical with a featured role.
ADAM GUILLERMO ADAM GUILLERMO ADAM GUILLERMO ADAM GUILLERMO (Monostatos) is a Junior Music Major at Westfield State Universi-
ty. In his high school years, he has been part of musicals such as West Side Story,
Fiddler on the Roof, Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma, How to Succeed in Business Without
Really Trying, and Annie. He is also in the Night Owls, the student run a-capella
singing group on campus.
ALEXSANDRA DONATO ALEXSANDRA DONATO ALEXSANDRA DONATO ALEXSANDRA DONATO (Pamina) is a senior at Westfield, majoring in vocal perfor-
mance. She began her studies with various performing arts groups such as
Chaminade Opera, Norton Singers, Operatunity, and DelGiudice Vocal Arts Acade-
my. Some of her lead roles include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Naomi in Cinder-
ella the Opera, and Rose in The Little Prince. She was also a chorus member in
Westfield's production of Sweeney Todd. She is very excited to be a part of this pro-
duction!
KERRY TUROK KERRY TUROK KERRY TUROK KERRY TUROK (Lady #1, Papagena, Old Women) is a senior here at Westfield State
University. Currently she is majoring in Vocal Music Education. This is Kerry’s second
show with the music department and she is extremely exited! In the past she has been
in The 25 Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy), The Wedding Singer (Julia), The
Music Man (Eulalie Shinn), Honk (Ida), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy) and so many more.
She is so thankful to have worked with such a wonderful cast. She would like to thank
everyone who has helped her to get to where she is. She couldn't have done it without
the love and support of her amazingly talented directors, friends and family! Break legs
to all my fellow cast mates and enjoy the show!
JOSHUA OSBORNE JOSHUA OSBORNE JOSHUA OSBORNE JOSHUA OSBORNE (Sarastro) An alumni of WSU, Joshua is excited to be performing on
the stage where he has so many great memories. While at Westfied State Joshua was a
member of the Chorale, the Festival Chorus and the Wind Symphony. A great deal of his
time was spent with the Musical Theatre Guild performing in ten of their shows and serv-
ing on the executive board for two years. During the past few years Joshua has been
performing around the community with various theatre groups. In April he was seen in
Godspell with Westfield Theatre Group and last month he was a part of the critically ac-
claimed, sold out run of Les Miserables with Exit 7 Players. Joshua would like to thank
Mary Bonacci for this great opportunity.
JESSICA MCFADDEN JESSICA MCFADDEN JESSICA MCFADDEN JESSICA MCFADDEN (Lady #2) is a senior at Westfield State University studying Special
Education and Music. She participated in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
and Cabaret. Jessica is also in WHIP, the Improvisation club at school.
PATRICE METCALF PATRICE METCALF PATRICE METCALF PATRICE METCALF (Boy #2) is a junior at Westfield State University. She is a music per-
formance major, with her main instrument being voice, and she is also contemplating
striving for a degree in social work and/or a minor in piano. She has enjoyed theater
immensely since elementary school, both musicals and straight plays. The stage is her
comfort zone. She would like to thank her family for their encouragement in life, their
advice, and for helping her afford college; her voice teachers Mary and Rochelle for help-
ing her get to where she is today; her roommate, an unfailing support over the years,
ever since their involvement in Annie in 3rd grade; and to all her amazing friends, who
have shown her what it really means to love and care for one another. She sends you all
an overly-ecstatic hug. And of course she thanks God the most high - without Him she
would not have these blessings. She hopes all you in the audience enjoy the show!
HANNAH V. RUSSELL HANNAH V. RUSSELL HANNAH V. RUSSELL HANNAH V. RUSSELL (Chorus) is a freshman music major at Westfield State. Previously
she attended the Boston Arts Academy (BAA) were she majored in vocal jazz. Hannah
continued her singing during the summers by participating in programs at New England
Conservatory, Boston Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. In Hannah's senior
year she performed with her school's Rhythm and Voice ensemble receiving sec-
ond place at Berklee's High School Jazz Fest. Hannah finished the year off with her sen-
ior recital, including the following songs: On a Clear Day, Corcovado, Amarilli Mia Bel-
la, Con Te Partiro. Hannah is thrilled to part of the Magic Flute production. One of her
all time favorite operas!
ANDRE TOUSSAINT ANDRE TOUSSAINT ANDRE TOUSSAINT ANDRE TOUSSAINT (Chorus) is a sophomore here at Westfield State University having
transferred from Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield MA. He is studying business
and music and wishes to perfrom. He was very involved in musical theater throughout
his high school career; Little Shop of Horrors, Grease and Once Upon a Mattress. Fresh-
man year of college he landed a lead role in Spamalot. He is very excited about being a
part of the cast in The Magic Flute and hopes to audition for Fiddler on the Roof in the
spring. He would like to give a special thanks to his high school drama and music direc-
tors for all their support in getting him this far.
COREY LANGLOIS COREY LANGLOIS COREY LANGLOIS COREY LANGLOIS (Chorus) is a freshman at Westfield State University; he is currently
undeclared but is working his way to be a Music Composition Major. He was in Show
Choir for 6 years, and was in Select Choir and made the Worcester District Choir three
times in his six years of High School. He is excited to be involved with Magic Flute .
HANNAH CALDERONE HANNAH CALDERONE HANNAH CALDERONE HANNAH CALDERONE (Chorus) is a Freshman at Westfield State University. She is a
Vocal Music Education major and this is her first performance not only at WSU but in an
opera. She previously attended Malden High School and sang in chorus for four years
as well as studied music theory and history her last two years. She received three years
of private voice lessons, coached by Erin Holmes. During the past four years she has
performed in various recitals singing Deep River, Beau Soir, Sebben Crudele, Shenando-
ah, and Sure on This Shining Night. She is very excited to be apart of Magic Flute and
experience her very first performance in an opera.
SCOTT BAILEY SCOTT BAILEY SCOTT BAILEY SCOTT BAILEY (Music Director) is staff accompanist/coach at Westfield State University
where he serves the accompanying needs of Music Department. He has served as ac-
companist at UMass Amherst, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and as Director of
Choral Activities at Bay Path College. He was the choir director for the Bay Path College
Festival Choir trips to Prague, Munich, and Salzburg. He served as the music director at
the First Congregational Church of North Adams, UCC, having coordinated the North
County Music Series and acted as director of the North County Ecumenical Choir. Scott
has been certified as a Colleague of the American Guild of Organists and is a member of
the Berkshire and Springfield Chapters. He is currently a substitute organist in Berkshire
County and the Pioneer Valley

MARY BROWN BONACCIMARY BROWN BONACCIMARY BROWN BONACCIMARY BROWN BONACCI, (Vocal Director) a Kansas City native, has sung mezzo-
soprano roles with opera companies and orchestras across the United States in-
cluding Des Moines Metro, Pine Mountain Music Festival, and Utah Festival Opera,
Kansas City Lyric Opera. She has appeared with the Olathe Community Orchestra,
Decatur Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, and Kaw
Valley Symphony. She traveled overseas in 2008 to perform and teach with Opera
Period in Excideuil, France. In New England, Mary has appeared with the Granite
State Opera (Rosina, Mercedes, Mary Stone) Salt Marsh Opera (Suzuki) and as solo-
ist with the Masterworks Chorale of Boston (Messiah, Haydn 2nd Mass in C) Arcadia
Players (Messiah, Weinachts Oratorium, Lord Nelson Mass) and Hampshire Choral
Society (Missa Cellensis, Messiah, Bach B minor Mass). Her other roles include Dor-
abella, (Cosi fan Tutte) Regina, (Regina), and Carmen (Carmen). She performs ac-
tively as a recitalist and with chamber ensembles in Western Massachusetts and
beyond. She holds degrees from Emporia State University (BM, MM) and the Univer-
sity of Kansas (DMA). Currently, she is Assistant Professor, directing music theatre
workshop, teaching applied voice and vocal pedagogy at Westfield State University.
ERNEST W. IANNACCONE ERNEST W. IANNACCONE ERNEST W. IANNACCONE ERNEST W. IANNACCONE (Producer, Set & Lighting Design) is the Technical
Director at Westfield State University where he has produced and designed the sets
and lights for Cabaret, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee , Amahl and
the Night Visitors and lighting for Sweeney Todd. Ernie has a Masters of Fine Arts
Degree from New York University in Lighting Design and a BA in Music Education
from New Jersey City University.
