The Maghreb Growth Foundation aims to match Morocco's emerging entrepreneurs with Moroccan Diaspora in the United States who will help them succeed in their business ventures and to build economic prosperity across the region.

By accessing the Maghreb Growth Foundation's Mentor Match Platform, Moroccan Diaspora members will be able to create a profile describing their interest areas, key skills, experience and location where they will be present during their visit to Morocco.

Potential mentees (entrepreneurs in Morocco) can search the database by a number of different criteria, including venture focus, interest areas, needs and location. Subject to an initial fit on both sides, mentors (Diaspora) can make arrangements to meet in Morocco to start the mentoring relationship.

The MGF members Diaspora members participating in the Mentor Match program will benefit from the foundation Non For Profit status and can deduct portion of their Travel expenses to Morocco from their annual tax returns.

While Mentorship is the core benefit of the MGF, other channels like micro-finance, road shows, capital fund raising and business plan structuring are some of the other options for the Diaspora to get involved.

The Maghreb Growth Foundation is the ideal farm to seed investment opportunities to the Private Equity Fund (Maghreb Growth Fund) by building a rich database of vetted business plans resulting from the mentor match program.

The US Department of State and its special agencies like US Aid and other partners will provide guidance on effective mentoring, including tools, resources and materials

The General Consulate of the Kingdom of Morocco will provide access and networking opportunities with Diaspora members across the USA combining official programs like the Mobil Consulate and community Town Halls.
