    Whole in the wall cafe

  • There is always that tiny cafe or restaurant that you love, that you hope no one else will ever find out about, because once other people realize how awesome it is, the whole world will start going there. This is exactly what happened with The Hole in the Wall cafe.It opened in a garage behind Maha-raja hotel in Koramanagala ( the cafe was quite literally a hole-in-the-wall) . Soon enough it gained popularity. Cut to a few years later- theyve got a space twice as big ( its not really a hole in the wall anymore) , and an ever bigger loyal fan base. Their English breakfast is the most famous, .

Recommendations for when you visit :

Waffles with caramelized bananas ( or pancakes, but I prefer the waffles)The Meaty CheeseburgerThe Awesome Sausage SandwichThe Hangover Remedy

For those of you who wish to eat something healthy, they even have egg white omelettes with spinach ( The Great White) and Freshly sliced bananas with yoghurt, muesli and home-made syrup.

    Smoke House Deli

  • CuisinesEuropean, Fast Food, DessertsEstablishment TypesCasual DiningOpening hours:9 AM to 11 PM

The most striking thing about Smokehouse Deli is the white and black interiors, so classy and so interesting, they tell a tale in themselves .People can sit there observing the doodles not both-ering about the food.Though not a very pocket friendly place but the good quality and consistent food along with beautiful white ambience makes it a must visit.

Located in one of the swankiest streets in Bangalore, the Smoke House is a place to fiest on art and food. How the interiors of every Smokehouse brings in the essence of the particular city. Zameer Basrai, the architect behind the hand illus-trated Deli formats spent a couple of weeks in Bangalore researching the city, its pulse and its lore. All of these have been translated into sketches on the every visible surface at the Deli. The idea is that when you wait for your food to arrive, you can instantly Google any of the names you see around you and will be able to get the whole story - look for the haunted house on St Marks road, the popular bands of the city, the cuckoo clock and more.

This place closes very early so its not one of those places where you can have those late evening din-ners. No parking facility so youll have to find a spot on the road.It is easy on pockets and its famous all over india for its idlis .It serves only vegeterian food so for all the non vegeterians please go there only when you want to eat veg.

This place is synonymous with South Indian food like no other place in Bangalore. What can we say about one of the most iconic brands not just in the city, but in the coun-try. Some will claim to be proud to be Bangalorean just because this joint exists in the garden city. The meals here are unlimited and scrumptious, to say the least. It gives you that old bangalore feeling. The food is just the way you expect it to be. Seating and service is quite good. If you order the unlimited meals the food is going to be pretty average so dont get tempted into one of those. Eat light and youll enjoy it.

Serafina is a nice dining place with calm atmosphere and plain colors which comes to life with the dim candlelights all over the place. The food is well cooked and one can distinguish the style of cooking by tasting it because the flavor and the taste dont coincide with Indian chefs cooking traditional Italian food. They have a very attractive outdoor seating but the busy lanes there most of the times.Serafina is a perfect place for casu-al dining . If romance is what you are looking for then a seat on the outsides during the early evenings or post 9 pm would be ideal. The deserts are exemplary.
