Magazine name analysis The name of my magazine is FLUX. The reason I choose this was because I wanted my magazine name to have 4 letters in order for me to copy the conventions of the magazine I'm copying. Furthermore, I choose this name as I think its different to others and also relates to my R&B theme. The reason I choose FLUX was because I think it will attract my target audience which is between the ages of 18-30. FLUX makes the magazine sound sophisticated and also makes the word snappy and simple to say. The font is very clear and bold. This makes it stand out and catch the eye of readers. The red block writing make the magazine seem more interesting as the red is on a black background. The way you pronounce the word also flows out of your mouth and it is a pleasant word. The meaning of ‘FLUX’ is “the action or process of flowing or flowing out.” which is also related to my music magazine.
