Outtake’ is a term for when actors forget their lines or something goes wrong while filming, and so is cut (or taken) from the film itself. They are then often all put together and feature on the DVD of the film for audiences to watch: they are popular and generally are quite humorous.

The title connotes that the reader will be finding out more than just what movies are coming out in the cinema. It attracts the audience as they are given the idea that they are getting behind the scene gossip, and an insight in the life's of the a list stars. Its an obvious title, showing that it is a magazine about film.

‘Hype’ a term used for when a film is about to open, and those behind the film get the audience excited through advertisements for the film/interviews with actors/directors/sneak peeks/trailers etc which helps ultimately build the film’s fan base and overall success (as this all combined together gets the audience eager and excited to see the actual film itself).

‘Cine’ to cinema which shows that it has a clear correlation with film. The word ‘Mix’ is slightly a play on words as the audience can interpret it as there being a mixture of films being promoted within this magazine and others may interpret as when they go to the cinema and buy pick ‘n’ mix sweets to eat while enjoying the movie that they are watching.

From our research, it is evident that our target audience find ‘Beyond Cinema’ the most appealing masthead name. We came to the conclusion

that ‘Hype’ didn’t get as many votes because it doesn’t suit the genre of a Film magazine, whereas Beyond Cinema and Cinemix obviously do.

Looking at the results for our masthead typography, we can see that the ‘Caviar Dreams’ font is the obvious favourite. We think that the bottom

floral-type font is disliked by our target audience, most probably due to the fact that it isn't suited to the film genre.
