• Out of the publishing companies I have research I would choose IPC Media because they are one of the leading uk production companies and have a great portfolio of magazine including NME magazine which is internationally is leading in the music magazine industry, with synergies such as tv radio websites and radio but I would like to keep it privately owned so I could make it my own and have complete control as like RWD magazine which is the similar genre to my magazine is. The companies would not bring much to the table as my magazine is a niche but a growing market so in the future possibly consider a deal so I could make it an international rather than UK based and UK based music hasn’t become as popular as the American hip hop and rap scene. But I would aspire to be like the UK version of Vibe or XXL magazine. The audience is very specific and if it became more mainstream to early it would dilute the content with pop music and by doing that it would loose its identity.
