Today I started working on magazine draft on InDesign. This is the progress that I’ve made so far, as I’ve only just started on my contents page. I reckon I’ll be done rather quickly due to the speed that I’m picking up on things.

Week One

I’ve moved some stuff around and I’ve now added some pictures in. I’ve also placed some artists in my band index due to me creating a list and placing them in alphabetical order. I may continue to edit and change some things about the template, as I don’t like it as much and I want to put some more pictures in.

Week Two

The past few lessons I have been working on my formatting in order so that the draft magazine would look even better than before. I’ve decided on a main colour to use in correlation with my pictures, and also the magazine. This will ensure that my magazine will look sophisticated and neat, whilst also allowing me to present an accurate representation of what I had in my mind from the start. I only have a bit left of information to fill in on my contents page before I move onto my next project.

Week three

During this week I finished editing my contents page and then I finally moved onto my features page. I finalised the touches on the contents page and added in a third colour – that being silver. I think the combination of each three colours will be a great addition to the magazine and will make it look more professional.

Week four

This week I’ve started working on my feature article and the rest of my magazine after having om,peted the ocntents page. I believe that after the next two weeks I’ll alrteady be working on my new magazine, having finishe th edraft to perfection.

Week Five

This week on my magazine I started on my front cover, whilst creating a unique logo for myself in order to add to my masthead.
