theme are used to show dul l covers but

there is no l ight . The text less magazine

cover shows that Beyoncé is known for

fame as she does not need her name on

the a lbum, showing the v iewers she is wel l

known and popular. A gain just showing her

album name ‘Sasha F ierce’ shows she is

f ierce as she has not used her name again

connot ing her image as f ierce band bold.

The shadow used on her hai r l ine g ives her

fac ia l features the focal po int , th is i s the

and a lso catches the at tent ion of people

as the dul l theme stands out next to the

br ight co lours . I would l ike to use th is

ef fect as i t g ives a focal po int to the

ar t is ts features and look .

This ar t ist has used a more brighter theme

showing her music video theme is a mix of

rock and pop, here the white on pink and

black with the black boarders shows a more

gir ly side of the album, she has mentioned

her album name and some of the songs

included, the release date as well showing

i t is her ‘new’ album. The theme of the

album matches the style of the ar t ist this is

ef fective as it shows the ar t ist is showing

there feel ings and is opening up to the

audience creating a connection. The under

top, make up and design show with the

white top connote both the good and back

of the ar t ist . As the white jacket with black

spots shows she is not per fect. Think

matching the album theme with the ar t ists

style creates a more open atmosphere as

well as opening up to the audience I would

l ike to use this theme.

Here the ar t ist has used the same theme as the previous magazine adver t (Avri l Lavigne) he has used the theme of using his fashion style to match the background and text of the magazine advert . The blood red text used showing his name stands out, again connoting he as an artist stands out. He has used the ain songs from his album to advert ise by showing next to the song name ‘ Includes No.1 single’ . Here again it shows what the artist has achieved and is adver tising his in his magazine album. He has also shown where people can but his album and let the audience know it is out now again this is ef fective and I would l ike to use this as it can help the audience find what they are looking for and is easi ly accessible and useful.

Here is another album, again the matching theme of the make up and text and clothes and text is used to show a l ink with the artist. The ar t ist has shown dif ferent sides of herself this is ef fective as it lets the viewers know more about the ar t ist and invites them to buy the album. Showing her albums hit songs at the front again shows which songs are included in the album persuading people to buy this. She has used the same tactic as Olly Murs as she shows where you can buy her album from. The focal point of her magazine advert is the faces of the ar t ist and her name in bright pink capitals. This is ef fective as it is eye catching and has a l ink with the album.

Overall Artist use many different ways to advertise their albums to the audience, many of the artists use a l ink between their style and their selves as well as having a strong link between with the album theme and music video. I find this interesting and useful as the audience can see the artist showing different sides and approaching the audience in a more open way. The main songs l isted at the bottom is also effective as it shows the audience where they can buy it and is helpful. I would l ike to use these to methods as these are mostly the focal points of the artists.
