Q &

A !

Q1.What advice can you give to a architecture student? A- I would advice you to never give up. Because you must know that you’re different from other professions, you are a designer. An architect needs to be creative. Creativity sometimes you need to try hard, like keep on practice sketching. Must complete your task and never quit no matter how bad is it. You must be rational. Get ideas somewhere, you can listen to some music, look at some nice building and read some nice books

Q2.What are the biggest challenges and attractions that you have to face in this profession?

A-As a professional, I have to be fully responsible for what I’m doing which I think it’s very challenging. And the other biggest challenge is to get a job. As an architect, you must know where to get a job otherwise your company has nothing to do.

A- Our goals is to get our design built! We also want our work to be published on magazines, television and so on!

Q3.What are your goals of this firm?

Q4.What is the inspiration in your design?

A-As what I’ve told you just now, inspiration is like go travelling, every year I went travelling to many different countries to see what other architect design, how they do their building and experience other people’s work. There are many other great architect out there. The other things that inspires me are art and nature. I go to galleries and I really like plants. My house is full of plants. Nature is perfect, like a flower, you can never create a flower. Besides, music also inspires me.

Q5.Toughest moment?

A- When a project have a problem, which mean when somebody have made a mess then the client starts to accuse about something wrong and I have to rescue that project. I have to make it work and to solve all the problems which the previous architect has done wrong. I have to redo everything, to convince the clients, solve the technical details, meeting all the contractors to convince them that things can be done and so on, that is the most difficult things I’ve encountered when the project on site went into problem, I have to solve it as an architect and yet you’re not being sued.
