Congratulations on RT 94 on the great Community Service, the Gynaec Camp organised along with Dr. Shanthi Sanjay, I am sure it must have benefited many people. Congrats on the Inauguration of the Toilet Blocks as well. Wish RT 94 the very best in the upcoming Fundraiser, hope you guys make a killing in that and do some wonderful projects like always.

Please convey my hearty congratulations to JSK on the fantastic tie – up that he arranged from Jet Airways for Bihar Relief, he was aptly recognised by the President by conferring the LMF to him. CONVENORS' REPORT:

FELLOWSHIP: – Tr. Samir Singla & Tr. Vijay Balaji

� The theme ‘Toga Party’ was well executed by tablers and circlers. Everybody

Dressed-up like Romans.

� Tr Samir informed the table that serious plans are underway for the NFD joint fellowship trip with the tablers of Coimbatore ACME TR 133 at Pondicherry. He advised the table that he was in the process of finalizing hotels etc.

� Tr Samir also asked the table about the plans for Halloween. Table has advised Tr Samir to

speak with tables 1 and 3 and plan a joint Halloween Night like last year. He advised the table that the date and venue of the Halloween Night will be informed later.

PROJECTS: - Tr. Sivaramakrishnan & Tr. Senthil Kumar

� FTE:

The project Convenors asked approval from the table if it was ok to go ahead with a 9-classroom project and a 5-classroom project at JGHSS – Virugumbakkam and Nandanam respectively. Initially the table was to wait for the funds that have been approved but haven’t been received as yet from Benetton. The table approved both these projects and recommended the funds be taken from the fundraiser and the above be replaced as and when the Benetton funds come in.

Below are the estimates for the projects:

� 9 Classrooms at JGHSS – Virugambakkam

Total Cost - Rs. 36, 87,000/- SSA Contribution - Rs.31,50,000/- Table - Rs.5,37,000/-

� 5 Classrooms at GHSS - Nandanam

Total cost - Rs.20,79,000/- SSA Contribution - Rs.17,50,000/- Table - Rs.3,29,000/-

The table also decided to apply jointly with the circle for the RTIF grant for their joint

project, which will be decided later. It was also agreed that while the table would do

the physical part of school project by building the classrooms, the circle would

complement the table by implementing some continued educational program.

� Community Service - To update us about the Bihar flood Tr J.S. Krishna advised us that Jet Airways has flown close to 14 tons of rlief material. The table has contributed about a lakh of Rupees and medicines worth 45,000/-.

� Tr. Krishna was on LOA. The issue about Tr Hemang Badani’s attendance was brought up. The chairman advised the table that he would have a council meeting to discuss the same.

EXTENTION: - Tr. Dinshaw Parakh & Tr. Madan Kumar

� Tr. Dinshaw advised the table that there were a couple of more prospects in the pipe line and their résumé’s will be forwarded to the yahoo group.

PUBLICITY: - Tr. Ashish Ahuja

� The Publicity convener advised that they have nominated a PRO to assist in the advertisement and towards obtaining good publicity for MCRT 94.

� So far the table has received excellent publicity for the Pankaj Udhas Show. The publicity received so far is as follows:

More articles are expected to be fublished once the event takes place. He also advised that there is a possibility of SS Music covering the event and also advised that magazines would also be covering the event.

� The Chennai Suttru, the first HR program for the table will take place on the 28th of September (Sunday) starting at the New Woodlands hotel. Tr. Raghu Kailas encouraged all tablers to take part in this fun filled event and requested everybody at the venue at about 9.00 am.

SUPPLY HOUSE: - Tr. Nitin Mehra

� Tr. Nitin advised that he has purchased supply house items worth Rs 20,000 and the items would be auctioned of at the next business meeting.

� He also advised the table that some of the items purchased was to be given as gifts for

Mr. Pankaj Udhas and his troupe as gifts coming from MCRT 94 with Round Table logo. GREETING CARDS: - Tr. Rajit Mhetras

� Tr. Rajit Mehtras has placed an order for 1,000 greeting cards and requested all tablers to start talking to their friends and companies to promote Round Table greeting card sale. He also advised that if anybody requires a catalogue it can be couriered to the respective tabler.

IRO: - Tr. Mehul Nanavati

� Tr. Mehul requested tablers to inform him if they were travelling abroad so that he could

organize for possible meetings with tablers from different countries. He also advised that he will give them the address where the tablers tend to visit.

WEB: - Tr. Murali Balan & Tr. J.S. Krishna

� Tr. Murali Balan advised the tablers to advise him with photographs, which can be uploaded in the website.

� Tr. J.S. advised that he will also update the certificates that were won by MCRT 94 at the

Area II AGM.

INTERTABLE: - Tr. Nauzer Dadabhoy & Tr. Dinshaw Parakh

� Tr. Dinshaw advised that there was good attendance from the table for the inter-table badminton held on 14th September at Sterling Club. Except for Tr Murali none of the MCRT 94 participants crossed the first hurdle. However better results were achieved in consuming the Beer and Biryani that was served.

MAGAZINE:- Tr. Ravindran & Tr. J.S.Krishna

The cover of the first issue of the table magazine is ready and awaiting for Area Chairman’s message and National President’s message. Also newly inducted Cr. Aruna will be the chief editor of the magazine.

TREASURER'S REPORT: - Tr. Shailesh Vummidi

� Tr. Shailesh advised that he has received almost all of the subscription from the tablers.

SECRETARY: Tr. Rajeev Vijayakumar

� Tr. Rajeev advised the table that he was in the process of finishing the C and D form dues and would send it off along with the table’s award applications.

CHAIRMAN: - Tr. Neville J Bilimoria

� Chairman advised the table that Tr. J.S. has been honoured with LMF (Louis Marchesi

Fellow) badge for taking initiative to fly the flood relief material to Bihar by Jet Airways. He appreciated Tr. J.S. for his initiative. Chairman also advised that Area Chairman Tr. Sakthivel is coordinating with Tr. J.S. to find a suitable time to honor him with the LMF badge.

� He thanked the fellowship convenors Tr. Sam and Tr. Vijay Balaji in assisting to bring out

the theme for this evening.

� Chairman once again requested tablers to push the ticket sales for the Pankaj Show to make it a grand success. He also thanked every tabler, who had taken lot of initiative towards talking to different people towards obtaining sponsorship for the Pankaj Udhas show. He also thanked Cr.Gunit and Cr.Priya towards sponsorship.

� He also thanked Sheetal Parakh towards helping in designing the tickets, the

advertisement format and also helping in designing the backdrop of the stage for the Pankaj Udhas show.

ANY OTHER MATTER:

� Greetings were received from IPC Tr Rajesh Gupta.
