A look into the TaylorMade stable ahead of 2017’s first Major

It’s the week every golfer across the world looks forward to. The season’s opening major

signals the unofficial start of the golf season and the whole planet gears up in hope of a

successful season. This feeling is also true for the TaylorMade athletes, building up their game

to peak for Augusta in a bid to don the coveted Green Jacket come Sunday night. The

competition this week is as fierce as ever! To celebrate the TaylorMade athletes, UK artist Scott

McRoy was commissioned to create a set of unique illustrations for 'The Contenders' that are

bidding to be crowned champions come Sunday night.

Jon Rahm – The Rookie

Jon Rahm turned pro on June 20, 2016. Less than 10 months later, Rahm has already won his

first Tour event, risen from 551st to 12th in the world, jumped to 4th in the FedExCup Standings,

and qualified for his first trip to Augusta. With power and panache in his repertoire, as well as a

deadly putter in the shape of the Spider Tour Limited, 'Rahmbo' could well end the 38 year wait

for a rookie victory.

Very much a people’s champion, you’d be hard pressed to find a golf fan that wouldn’t love to

see the Matador win a major. With 2017 looking extremely bright following the engagement to

Angela Akins and a stellar victory in Dubai, the golfing world wouldn’t be too surprised to see

Sergio reign supreme on the rolling fairways of Augusta this week.

in 7 events sees Justin sit 16th in the FedEx Cup and 14th in the world rankings. Adding

heads to Georgia in a bid to better his tied 2nd finish in 2015.
